Kanazawa - a city located west of central Japan in the Ishikawa prefecture is a charming city that combines both the old and the new. The city has been given the name Little Kyoto as it has a similar look with its old architecture combines with a small city vibe. In this video, I will show you guys 5 reasons why you should consider visiting Kanazawa on your next holiday.

JAPAN Kanazawa
Kanazawa is west of Tokyo between the mountains and the sea. Kenrokuen Gardens has the six attributes of a perfect landscape garden: spaciousness, seclusion, artifice, antiquity, watercourses and panoramas.
This video includes the Geisha pleasure district, a traditional tea ceremony, food market, gold leaf manufacturing and porcelain artists.
You will also see what tactile ground surface indicators are!

KANAZAWA CASTLE - Traveling in Japan (Ishikawa Prefecture)／金沢・金沢城（日本国内旅行）
If you have never been to Kanazawa (Ishikawa), you might have missed something.
It is a beautiful city with a lot to see and discover. I went to Kenrokuen, a landscape garden,
and Kanazawa Castle, which you can see in the video below.
I went there in July and it was pretty hot, but I had a really great time.

A Day Trip to Kanazawa Japan | Kanazawa Castle Park | Kenroku-en Garden
Kanazawa is one of the overlooked jewels of Japanese tourism — although not by the Japanese, who visit in droves. Its relatively remote location, off the beaten (shinkansen) track, has perhaps unfairly contributed to a lower number of foreign tourists. However for those travellers who want to see perhaps the best-preserved major Edo-period city in the country (along with Takayama), it is hard to beat. Kyoto's offerings of temples and shrines are all very well, but Japanese history and culture is not just about them. The samurai, the merchants, the geisha, and the lords have all left their mark on Kanazawa in a compact, easily navigable central area. Kanazawa is part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Crafts and Folk Art. Kanazawa cuisine is famous throughout Japan, particularly its seafood since it lies in the sweet spot of the hot south and cold north currents. The quality of food is so high, that essentially you'll eat good food whatever the price.

Japan Vlog: Kanazawa | Beauxoxo
The second of my Japan vlog series is the beautiful: Kanazawa. Kanazawa is truly a gem of Japan and it was just the most breathtaking few days exploring somewhere so drenched in such beautiful Japanese culture.
Kanazawa is one of the best-preserved major Edo-period city in the country (along with Takayama). It has an abundance of temples, shrines and castles with some of the most beautiful gardens in the country. The samurai, the merchants, the geisha, and the lords have all left their mark on Kanazawa and it is now part of the UNESCO Creative Cities Network as a City of Crafts and Folk Art.
Kanazawa cuisine is also famous throughout Japan, and so you'll see glimpses of the most amazing Japanese food market I've ever been to! Thank you so much Kanzawa for the memories, I'll never forget you! xo

There was so much history in the places we traveled, I couldn't possibly share everything that was shared with us. However, I will do my best to show it to you. It's really something better experienced than told about anyway, and I highly recommend visiting these places!
