Kaohsiung, Taiwan - Lotus Pond - Full Tour HD (2017)
Lianchihtan (Chinese: 蓮池潭; pinyin: Liánchí Tán; Pe̍h-ōe-jī: Liân-tî-thâm) is a man-made lake and popular tourist destination on the east side of Zuoying District in Kaohsiung City in southern Taiwan. Opened in 1951, it is famous for the lotus plants on the lake and the numerous temples around the lake, including the Spring and Autumn Pavilions (春秋閣), the Dragon and Tiger Pagodas (龍虎塔), and the Confucian Temple (孔廟).
Lotus Pond was the site for several water sporting events for World Games 2009, including canoe polo, water ski, and dragon boat.

高雄原生植物園位於左營區縱貫鐵路旁，自行開車者由高雄博愛三路轉彎至崇德路，直至平交道旁即是，或左營大路接勝利路到翠華路，左轉沿翠華路行至崇德路，見平交道旁即是。位於重光路端點的即為原生植物園入口。啟用時間：83年3月12日植樹節，總面積：4.66公頃，植栽樹種：45科180種，附停車場：可停小型車25台。園區注意事項：1.下列人士請勿入園(酗酒泥醉者、攜帶危險物品者、患傳染病者)。2.禁止採集本園內植物、損壞草坪或各項設施。3.禁止在園區內隨地吐痰、便溺、拋棄果皮、紙屑、菸蒂或其他廢棄物。4.禁止設攤、兜售商品。5.禁止攜帶寵物入園(但導盲犬、戒護犬例外)。6.禁止在本園烤肉、燃放鞭炮火燭與危害公共安全之事項。7.禁止在本園使用摩托車或其他自動交通工具。8.園區內水池禁止戲水、游泳、洗滌物品、釣魚等事項。9.禁止張貼或豎立違規廣告物。10.園區內遊樂設施～12歲以下兒童請由家長陪同使用。
由原生植物園入口踏入園區，廣場地面一隻鑲著金黃、黑色與紅色的紅色釉磚的柴山特有種「黃棠鳳蝶」正以美麗的雙翅迎接到訪的遊客，事實上，大門入口處兩顆球型體，就是蝴蝶的卵，爬行在欄杆上的則是毛毛蟲，葉型柱子上結的是蝴蝶的蛹，短短的一段距離，卻藝術化的展現蝴蝶的一生。環繞著圓形廣場的休閒座椅，是為了讓遊客有個歇腳的地方，一片片像葉型的座椅，為台灣原生品種的建材，而身後的解說牆，則是中國二十四節氣及各月花神的介紹。生態池可說是園區最大的溼地，是全區生態最豐富的場所。兒童遊樂場是原生植物園最熱門的地方，很多小朋友會在這裡嬉戲遊玩。
Kaohsiung, Taiwan - industrial center of southern Taiwan
Kaohsiung City is a special municipality in Taiwan. Located in southern-western Taiwan and facing the Taiwan Strait. It stretches from Mt. Jade to Taiping Island, and second most populous city. Since its start in the 17th century, Kaohsiung has grown from a small trading village, into the political, economic, transportation, manufacturing, refining, shipbuilding, and industrial center of southern Taiwan. It is a global city with sufficiency as categorized by Globalization and World Cities Research Network in 2012.
The Kaohsiung International Airport is the second largest airport in Taiwan. The Port of Kaohsiung is the largest harbor in Taiwan, but not officially part of Kaohsiung City. Kaohsiung was the host city of the World Games 2009, a multi-sport event primarily composed of sports not featured in the Olympic Games. The city is also home to the Republic of China Navy fleet headquarters and academy.
Main landmarks of Kaohsiung city includes the Tuntex Sky Tower, the ferris wheel of the Kaohsiung Dream Mall, the Kaohsiung Arena and the Kaohsiung Harbor. The newly developed city is also known for having a large number of shopping streets, organized night markets and newly developed leisure parks such as the Pier-2 Art Center, E-DA Theme Park or Taroko Park.
Natural attractions of the city includes Shoushan (Monkey mountain), the Love River, Qijin, the bay of Xiziwan, the Dapingding Tropical Botanical Garden and the Yushan National Park at the northeastern tip of the city. The city also features various historical attractions such as the Old City of Zuoying, a historical town built during the early 17th century.

There are numerous migratory birds and up to 17 endemic species of birds in Taiwan. These include Swinhoe's Pheasant
(Lophura swinhoii) , Mikado Pheasant (Syrmaticus mikado) , Formosan Bulbul (Pycnonotus taivanus) and White-throated Hill Partridge (Arborophila crudigularis). They are Taiwan's national treasure that you can't find elsewhere.
台灣賞鳥生態旅遊，資源非常豐富。有多不勝數的候鳥，多達17種特有種鳥類，例如藍腹鷳、黑長尾雉(帝雉)、烏頭翁、台灣山鷓鴣(深山竹雞)等台灣國寶。這些是其他地區看不到的特有鳥種。
