Kaohsiung Museum of History (Chinese: 高雄市立歷史博物館; pinyin: Gāoxióng Shìlì Lìshǐ Bówùguǎn) is a museum located in Yancheng District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan. It is administered by the Kaohsiung City Government.

Visiting Pier-2 Art Center 駁二藝術特區, which is an art center in Yancheng District, Kaohsiung, Taiwan.
Originally, the Arts Center was an abandoned warehouse site because of Kaohsiung's shift from industrial city to city of service.
The art center of Pier 2 is divided into district of Dayi, district of Dayong and district of Penglai.
There are many interesting art shops and some small shops with special characteristics, as well as regular art exhibitions and performances, such as occasional art performances.
Refuting is not only a general art space, but it has also added a strong artistic atmosphere to the city port due to the participation of these art exhibitions and programs.
Come to Kaohsiung, don't miss to visit the Pier-2 Art Center. Also a great place to check in and take photos. The light rail can be a very convenient transportation to bring you here.

最初，駁二藝術特區藝術中心是一個廢棄的倉庫，因為高雄從工業城市轉向服務城市。

Let’s go to see the public market! A lot of stalls have been operating for years, however in the past years some new shops put down roots here so the new intertwines with the old. It's a charming place!
????Louji Mantou (婁記饅頭)
A traditional shop with hand-made steamed buns inside the public market. You have four flavors to choose from: original taste, slightly sweet, black sugar and wheat bran. These buns is a childhood memory of many locals.
????Donut Lee (李二甜甜圈)
Donut Lee, opening at 12, is not a typical stall serving oily and oversweetened donuts! Donut Lee serves freshly baked donuts and you can choose from more and more flavors. Enjoy their crunchy outside layer and the soft inside! The donuts’ caloric value is lower than that of average donuts so you can eat them without sense of guilt!
????Amain Mochi (阿綿麻糬)
The rich variety of flavors and ingredients that are not too sweet nor oily makes these hand-made mochi the no. 1 at this popular souvenir shop in Yanchengpu District. Many customers come to get a box!(The lane right by the mochi shop is truly old school, has some paintings on the walls, it's a nice spot for photos!)
????Yuehong second-hand music shop (樂虹二手唱片)
You can search for memories of the past in this second-hand music store selling many old CDs in a variety of music styles and languages. Lots of them are unique and make you go back to your teenage years.(You can walk along the Love River for better digestion and reach our last stop-tube rice cake shop北港蔡三代筒仔米糕. Love River is one of the most representative spots in Kaohsiung.You can come either early or late for different atmosphere!On the way we passed by Kaohsiung Museum of History, which documents the Japanese colonial era through to early years of the Republic, go and find out by yourself!)
