Tirupati has an ancient Shiva temple at Kapila Theertham. It is the only holy waterfall in Tirupati. The waterfalls host Kapileswara Swamy temple dedicated to Shiva. A small Lord Venkateswara idol was established here in the 4th cave above the waterfall Kapila Theertham lies north east of Tirupati. The waterfall is situated right in the middle of the temple. A good place to visit during the monsoons as the waterfall looks breathtaking.
