Арагац. Самая высокая гора(вулкан) на территории современной Армении. Высота 4090м.
Озеро Кари. Высокогорное озеро на склоне горы Арагц. Высота 3207м. Рядом расположена высокогорная станция исследования первичных космических лучей.
Ниже по склону горы Арагац расположился исторический комплекс Амберд, состоящий из замка VII века и церкви Ваграмашен XI века.

«Ամբերդ 1» փոքր ՀԷԿ. մոնիտորինգի արդյունքներ
«Աջակցություն փոքր ՀԷԿ-երին վերաբերող բարեփոխումներին` գետային էկոհամակարգերի կայուն օգտագործման նպատակով հանրության եւ ՀՀ բնապահպանության նախարարության երկխոսության միջոցով» ծրագրի շրջանակներում փորձագիտական խումբը մեկնեց Արագածոտնի մարզ` այցելելու «Ամբերդ 1» եւ «Ամբերդ 2» փոքր ՀԷԿ-եր: Այս ՓՀԷԿ-երը կառուցված են Ամպուր գետի վրա (երկարությունը 36 կմ): «Ամբերդ 1» ՓՀԷԿ-ը գտնվում է Օրգով համայնքի վարչական տարածքում, «Ամբերդ 2» ՓՀԷԿ-ը` Օրգով եւ Բյուրական համայնքների վարչական տարածքում: ՓՀԷԿ-երը շահագործում է «Ամբերդ ՀԷԿ» ՍՊԸ -ն:
«Ամբերդ ՀԷԿ» ՍՊԸ –ի սեփականատերը թույլ չտվեց փորձագիտական խմբին մտնել ՓՀԷԿ-երի տարածք: Դեպի ՓՀԷԿ-եր եւ Ամպուր գետ տանող ճանապարհըերկու կողմից փակված էր ուղեփակոցներով, եւ դա հիմնավորվում էր նրանով, որ ՓՀԷԿ-երի կառուցած ճանապարհն է: Այս պատճառով ներկայացնում ենք միայն պաշտոնական տվյալներ` վերցված թույլատրող փաստաթղթերի փաթեթից եւ որոշակի դիտարկումներ այցի արդյունքում:

Tiezerk Band musicalized a sublime poem by the great Armenian medieval poet Nahapet Kuchak. The song is called ‘Hoki’ which means ‘soul’. Talks about all the questions that have no answer. Those questions you keep asking yourself and the world, hoping one day to find the answers.
ONE PROVINCE, ONE SONG:
‘One Province, One Song’ («Մեկ Մարզ, Մեկ Երգ») is a project by the Argentinian-Armenian singer-songwriter Alin Demirdjian. The project aims to discover the diversity of the local musical scene and the cultural identity of each province (‘marz’) in Armenia and Artsakh.

TIEZERK BAND:
The Tiezerk band was founded in 2015 by three girls: Lusine, Astghik and Eliza. Tiezerk means ‘universe’ in Armenian so, like the universe, Tiezerk band doesn’t have any genre borders. They create music using Armenian writer’s poems while also writing original songs. From 2019 the band includes two members: Eliza and Lusine. This young and talented girls have been playing in numerous cities of Armenia and the world and they have already released their first album: ‘Coordinates:00:02:37’. Listen to them and let yourself fly through the cosmos!

ABOUT THE PROVINCE:
Aragatsotn means the foot of Aragats (the highest mountain of the Republic of Armenia). The province is located in the western part of Armenia and the capital and largest city is the town of Ashtarak. The province has 3 urban and 69 rural communities. It has the highest percentage of rural population in Armenia: the urban population is 31,376 (23.6%) and the rural is 101,549 (76.4%). Thus, the majority of the population are involved in agriculture, including farming and cattle-breeding.
Aragatsotn is also a major centre for ecotourism and the lovers of extreme tourism. The Mount Aragats and Lake Kari are among the touristic destinations of the province. That’s why it frequently attracts hikers and adventure travelers. The well-preserved ancient monasteries and medieval fortresses are also among the main attractions of the province, as well as the Armenian Alphabet Park. In the province there is also the ‘Byurakan Astrophysical Observatory’ (Founded in 1946, it was one of the main astronomy centers of the USSR), and the ‘Herouni United Space Centre HUSC’ (Antena).
