Ottawa area landmark, Karters’ Korner, up for sale
Paul Joinette built Karters' Korner in Stittsville. It's been open for 38 years now. However, at the age of 71, Joinette has no fight left in him. The property is for sale and will likely be replaced by some sort of business plaza. He says he's closing due to a number of reasons, but chief among them is the new minimum wage hike. For my girlfriend's 26th birthday, we decided to head to Karters Korner in Ottawa, Ontario for a round of paintball. We made teams and had a few people we met join in. We started in the city scenario and moved onto the bunkers, enjoy the battle.

Karters Korner 2016 - Briggs Sr. Medium + Heavy - Heat 2
This is the first heat race of the day for the LKA club at Karters Korner. The group is comprised of 7 Sr. Medium drivers and 3 Sr. Heavy drivers, all using the Briggs & Stratton LO206 engine. The Sr. Heavy kart numbers are #13, #26, and #864 (the camera kart). We all started behind the 7 Medium drivers since our karts weigh about 30-40 lbs heavier, so we are a slower class.
Green flag starts the race at 2:40. Checkerd flag ends it at 13:10
Once again my camera's microphone is acting up, so the sound quality is pretty poor.
NCKC 2011 Race 3 Practice Karters Korner June 4th - Practice 3
This is the Senior 4-stroke practice from the NCKC Race 3 practice day at Karters Korner in Stittsville, Ontario. We only race this track once per year and the rest of the time it has rental karts running on it. When we get to it, the track is very slippery and all the drivers are quite rusty. It makes for some interesting driving as we see here.
In this session, I was trying to guide a rookie around the track to show her a decent line. She was having some mechanical problems and ended up in the grass a few times. All the parts where I'm slowly puttering along are when I was waiting for her to catch up again.
