FIA World Cup Karting KZ1 - Karting Genk 2011 (Part 1/2)
Interesting Karting session at Karting Genk (2018-06-20)
My first karting session in about 12 months.
This kart had a good top speed, but very worn tires. Instant understeer as soon as you turn the wheel.
But still I had a lot of fun. :)
Interesting moments:
2:10 a rare spin from me
3:19 I had more speed
3:42 double overtake round the outside
4:27 understeer
4:38 another double overtake
5:04 more understeer
5:52 triple overtake
6:11 amateur brakes to early, which puts me on the grass ...
6:24 ... and doesn't know the racing line
6:42 one more double overtake

Weather conditions were tricky on Friday for the Qualifying Session of the Kart Grand Prix of Belgium at the International Circuit of Genk! On a slippery track that caught out many drivers, Luigi Coluccio (BirelART/TM/LeCont) set the fastest lap in OK, while Conrad Laursen (FA Kart/Vortex/Vega) took Pole position in the OK Junior class!

Karting Genk - 1st time with 125cc two-stroke
My friend and I drove a 125cc two-stroke kart for the first time. Made some mistakes due to the unknown track and behaviour of the kart. The other guys were testing for the upcoming IAME series Benelux event the days after so we had to be carefull.
