The Kasagh Basilica, formally known as the Holy Cross Church, is an early medieval Armenian church in the town of Aparan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. It is dated by scholars to the fourth or fifth century. It was originally within the grounds of the Arsacid dynasty palace. The church was partly restored in 1877.

The Kasagh Basilica (Քասաղի բազիլիկա), formally known as the Holy Cross Church (Սուրբ Խաչ եկեղեցի, Surb Khach yekeghetsi), is an early medieval Armenian church in the town of Aparan in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. It is dated by scholars to the fourth or fifth century. It was originally within the grounds of the Arsacid (Arshakuni) dynasty palace. The church was partly restored in 1877.

Kasagh (formerly, Chamyrlu and Chamrlu), is an abandoned village in the Aragatsotn Province of Armenia. It was abandoned in 1965 and its ruins now lie beneath the Aparan Reservoir.
After the abandonment of the village, the population was moved to a new village called Kasagh, built at the northwestern suburbs of Yerevan, currently part of the Kotayk Province.

Դսեղի Սուրբ Գրիգորի ձորում ծվարում է Բարձրաքաշ Սուրբ Գրիգոր եկեղեցին (1221թ): Իրեն Մամիկոնյանների տոհմից սերված համարող Հովհաննես Թումանյանն իր հոդվածներից մեկում պատմում է այս եկեղեցու մասին: Եկեղեցու արևելյան կողմում Մամիկոնյանների տոհմական նշանն է՝ ճանկերում գառ պահած երկգլխանի արծիվ:

Monastery of Bardzrakash St. Gregory in Armenia
Built between the 10th and 13th centuries, this monastic complex is dedicated to St. Gregory, the first Catholicos of the Armenian Church. The ruins of the main buildings with no roofs and encroached on by vegetation lie in a deep verdant gorge located in the picturesque cultural landscape of the village of Dsegh.
The remains of this monastic complex consist of a remarkable collection of medieval buildings, dating from the 10th to the 13th centuries, in the cultural landscape of the village of Dsegh, birthplace and setting of the writings of Hovhannes Tumanyan, considered by many to be Armenia’s national poet.

Монастырь Св.Григория Просвятителя Бардзракаш почти полностью разрушен, крыша провалена. Здесь несколько построек было, сейчас одни стены остались. Относится этот монастырский комплекс к 10-13-м векам.
