2014年4月20日撮影。文京区根津にある根津神社で開催されている文京つつじまつり。たくさんのつつじが咲く境内を歩いてきました。毎年桜の後の楽しみがこのつつじなのですよ。撮影機材はNikon D7000 + SIGMA MACRO 105mm F2.8 EX DG OS HSM 及び Nikon AF-S DX NIKKOR 35mm f/1.8Gです。

Just be prepared to elbow your way through throngs of flower-loving pensioners if you want to enjoy the view. 1260 Kawana, Ito, Shizuoka. Nezu Shrine is one of Japan's oldest shrines, the current buildings dating back to 1706, it’s history stretching back way before, some say 2000 years.
The Shrine is set off by the hillside gardens that surround it and which are planted with over 3 thousand azalea bushes encompassing 100 species

日本武尊が1900年近く前に創祀したと伝える古社で、東京十社の一社に数えられている。境内はツツジの名所として知られ、森鴎外や夏目漱石といった日本を代表する文豪が近辺に住居を構えていたこともあり、これらの文豪に因んだ旧跡も残されている。
