Visiting Greece & the island of Kimolos was an adventure worth remembering!
Located northeast of Milos, Kimolos is a small island that belongs to the Western Cyclades. For the most part, Kimolos is mountainous. The highest peak is Paleokastro in the center of the island, at an altitude of 1175'. The geography of Kimolos has made the island one of the most beautiful destinations, and great for the drone views!
The coastline is a combination of sandy and rocky beaches. The southeastern part has sandy beaches, while the western part is rocky and difficult to access. The northern side of Kimolos is the least developed and accessible only by boat. On the northernmost part, there is the beautiful cave of Gerakia. Other caves on Kimolos are Vromolimnos and the cave of Kakos Potamos.

Пещера находится на горе Св. Георгия и является туристической достопримечательностью Килкиса. Согласно опросу, чешских врачей в 1988 году пещера обладает целебными свойствами и помогает при детской астме. Знаменитые пещеры, уникальный климат которых способствуют излечению от бронхиальной астмы, терапия кожных заболеваний вызванных аллергией, общее оздоровление организма.
Пещера имеет узкие, извилистые коридоры с высокими потолками. Стены, потолки и полы покрыты сталактитами и уникальными каменистыми кораллами. Пещера, обнаруженная случайно в 1925 году, представляет большой интерес для палеонтологов. Здесь нашли более 300 образцов окаменелых костей животных в очень хорошем состоянии.
