This amateur film of a road trip from Dimapur to Manipur in northeastern India shows traditional dances and rituals and a gigantic flower float. This footage was shot by keen filmmaker William Meiklejohn, who joined the Indian Forest Service in 1910, and spent most of his working life with the IFS in the North-West Frontier Province, United Provinces, Bengal and Assam.

World's Most Beautiful Starbucks ★ ONLY in JAPAN
Where is the world's most beautiful Starbucks? Japan, of course.
In Toyama city's Kansui Park is a shop that has won awards for it's design, but it's also the location that makes it beautiful. Those big windows overlook a lake in a park, the building resting upon grass, surrounded by sakura trees. The fresh air off the sea of Japan and the beautiful sunsets over the nearby Japanese Alps can't be forgotten. I could sip a hot cappuccino all day here.
But wait! Starbucks newest shop in Kyoto (Ninenzaka) is a traditional tea house that looks centuries old! It's hard to tell it's a Starbucks until you see the sign. Inside, it's like going back in time. You definitely feel Kyoto's historical vibe sitting on tatami sipping macha tea ... lattes. This may also be the world's most beautiful shop.
Hakodate in Hokkaido is home to what many consider to be the coziest Starbucks in the world. It's got a fireplace, wide open rooms and stairs, natural hard wood floors and a beautiful deck that overlooks Hakodate Bay. It's super cozy!
Yeah, visiting Starbucks is certainly one attraction for many visitors because it seems more than just a chain coffee shop. To me, it a reflection of the world around us -- and a really good cup of coffee.

Danau Tamblingan - lake off Purity - Bali Midori - Eastern Dawn - Midori - insta 360
Danau Tamblingan adalah sebuah danau yang terletak di lereng sebelah utara Gunung Lesung, kawasan Desa Munduk, Kecamatan Banjar, Kabupaten Buleleng, Bali. Danau ini merupakan satu dari tiga danau kembar yang terbentuk di dalam sebuah kaldera besar. Di sebelah timur berturut-turut terdapat Danau Buyan dan Danau Beratan. Diapit oleh hutan disekelilingnya serta dikarenakan letaknya di dataran tinggi membuat lingkungan danau ini berhawa sejuk.
Sebagai salah satu objek wisata alam, Danau Tamblingan tidak dikembangkan ke arah pariwisata modern demi menjaga kelestarian alam dan lingkungannya. Yang menjadi daya tarik utama tempat ini bukan hanya pesona alamnya, namun juga karena banyaknya pura yang menyimpan sejarah dan perkembangan peradaban dan kebudayaan Bali khususnya menyangkut pembentukan dan perkembangan Desa Tamblingan.
Diceritakan pada abad 10M sampai 14M lingkungan Danau Tamblingan adalah pemukiman yang pusatnya berada di Gunung Lesung sebelah selatan danau. Karena suatu alasan penduduknya kemudian berpindah ke empat daerah berbeda yang jaraknya masih berdekatan dengan areal danau. Keempat desa itu kemudian disebut Catur Desa , yang berarti empat desa yakni : Desa Munduk, Gobleg, Gesing, dan Umejero. Keempat desa ini memiliki ikatan spiritual dan memiliki tanggung jawab dan kewajiban untuk menjaga kesucian danau dan Pura yang ada di sekitarnya.
Nama Tamblingan berasal dari dua kata dalam Bahasa Bali yaitu Tamba berarti obat, dan Elingang berarti ingat atau kemampuan spiritual. Diceritakan dalam Lontar Kutara Kanda Dewa Purana Bangsul bahwa masyarakat di wilayah itu konon pernah terkena wabah epidemi. Sebagai jalan keluar seseorang yang disucikan kemudian turun ke danau kecil di bawah desa untuk mengambil air untuk obat. Berkat doa dan kemampuan spiritual dia air itu kemudian dijadikan obat dan mampu menyembuhkan masyarakat desa. Kata Tamba dan Elingang inilah lama kelamaan menjadi Tamblingan.
Oleh karena peradaban ini di kawasan Danau Tamblingan banyak terdapat pura. Pura-pura itu di antaranya :

Perlu dicataat Pura Embang dan Pura Tukang Timbang adalah sebuah kawasan Pura kecil yang dibangun dari batu bebaturan . Diperkirakan pura ini adalah peninggalan masyaraakat pra Hindu yang sebelum abad 10M telah bermukim di kawasan ini.

Kastil Nijo ( Nijo-jo ) dibangun pada tahun 1603 sebagai kediaman Tokugawa Ieyasu di Kyoto , seorang shogun pertama pada jaman Edo ( 1603-1867 ) . Cucunya Iemitsu melengkapi pembangunan kastil ini 23 tahun sesudahnya dan memperluasnya dengan menambah 5 bangunan di dalamnya yang masih dijaga sampai saat ini. Sesudah keshogunan Tokugawa tumbang pad tahun 1867, kastil NIjo digunakan sebagai istana kekaisaran sebelum akhirnya diberikan kepada pemerintah daerah dan dibuka untuk umum sebagai salah satu situs bersejarah. Kemudian bangunan ini dinyatakan sebagai salah satu situs warisan dunia oleh UNESCO pada tahun 1994 karena masih dipertahankan dengan baik sampai saat ini. Kastil Nijo dibagi menjadi tiga area: Honmaru (pertahanan utama), Ninomaru ( pertahanan sekunder) dan beberapa kebun yang mengelilingi Honmaru dan Ninomaru. Seluruh halaman kastil dan Honmaru dikelilingi oleh dinding batu dan parit. *

In 1870, the Maharaja of Indore, Sawai Tukojirao Holkar the 2nd, comissioned the building of a line from Indore to the Great Indian Peninsular Railway Main line at Khandwa . The line would climb the Vindhyachal mountains by way of the Choral valley, to reach Indore.
The section between Patalpani and Kalakund runs along the Choral river and with it’s numerous bridges, viaducts and tunnels , forms a fascinating backdrop in which to view the operations of this one hundred and fifty years old railway line.
