Katavi is probably remotest national park in Tanzania. So we had whole park almost for ouserlfes.
You can find most kind of animals there but especially big population of hippos and crocs.

Lions of Katavi National Park
Katavi is home to some of Africa's most fabulous wildlife. The beauty of Katavi lies in its remoteness. There are only 3 camps in the park and this means you get to see the wildlife pretty much all to yourself. We saw this pride for 4 days and only saw 2 vehicles in that time. It was magical but in Katavi the magic is also in the other wildlife and the land and the sky. The dawn chorus and the sunsets over the plains. It's a cocktail of wonderful experiences and sublime authentic safari magic!

Walking into true wilderness; Katavi National Park
Located in Katavi region, away from the regular excursion, and tourist route, the Katavi National Park is by far one of the most wildest. Katavi National Park, which is larger than Serengeti is visited by a fraction of tourists compared to Serengeti. During our stay in Katavi wild life camp, we did not see any other campers or visitors, and the entire park is literally for you once get in. Nourished by the Katuma river, and flood plains, the park has a wide range of fauna and flora.
The nights in the tented lodges, in the middle of Katavi is a unique feeling when only the canvas of the tent remains between you and the wilderness. I was listening the roaring lions, herds of elephants passing by, noises of hippos wondering for food and many other nocturnals all the night.
A night or two in the middle of Katavi is a nice learning curve that gives the feeling, earth is for all the living beings to share.

Cycling through the Katavi National Park in Tanzania
We had a miserable time cycling through the Katavi National Park. We were being bitten by millions of tsetse flies which forced us to wear waterproofs despite the heat to try and prevent the bites.
We then came across lion prints on the road and followed them for 8km, not knowing if the lions were watching us!
