The Kate Pace Way is a 12.5km pathway that connects the communities of Callander and North Bay. It ends at the Waterfront Marina on the shores of Lake Nipissing.

This is my horrible view down Mickey Mouse Trail, Darrel knows the place well, sniffing out the hard wood. This video is super shaky because my phone is strapped to my head via a head light that we altered with rubber bands for the occasion, the clasp broke so the phone was bouncing off my forehead, i'm gonna have to figure out a better way, this view is bad... Klondike Alaska: A Rail History
For most people, railroads in Alaska and the Yukon are synonymous with the Alaska Railroad and the White Pass and Yukon Railroad whose passenger cars provide tourists with vistas of awe-inspiring terrain. That same terrain provided enormous challenges for early settlers of both territories. Railroads were an integral part of overcoming those challenges. Dozens of other railroads also laid track in Alaska, the Yukon, and northwest British Columbia and provided the means to transport supplies to settlements and to transport the region’s raw materials to outside markets. Klondike Alaska charts the history of many of those railroads. ©KUAC 2005

18. The PlugSeeker’s Scotland Road Trip - Surrey to Glasgow (Part 1)
In today’s episode I did a road trip from Caterham Surrey to Glasgow in my 30kWh Nissan Leaf. This road trip included 6 Rapid Charger stops. On the way I documented my charging speeds, and monitored the Battery temperatures before and after charging. Am pleased to say it all went brilliantly (aside from delays due mainly to roadworks, with speed restrictions). All chargers were available and functioning normally, and although as can see, things did get “hot” in battery , in the end it didn’t affect performance or charging speeds. Stayed in Glasgow IBIS Budget hotel for extremely good price while attending a work conference in the SEC, which had bonus of free guest parking. This is Part 1 , there will be a Part2 with my experience of Tapud charging in Glasgow town centre and the road trip back to Surrey - Coming Soon!

The Canadians: Grey Owl
Archibald Stansfeld Belaney, alias Grey Owl, writer, conservationist (born 18 September 1888 in Hastings, England; died 13 April 1938 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan). Grey Owl was a well-known conservationist and writer in the 1930s. Although born in England, he portrayed himself as the son of a Scottish man and Apache woman. His articles and books stressed wilderness conservation and became bestsellers in Canada and Britain. Shortly after Grey Owl died in 1938, a newspaper article exposed his real identity as Archibald Belaney. He has been the focus of several biographies, articles and films, and his books have been reprinted many times.
