Along Riverbank Drive on the Katherine River, Katherine Hot Springs provide swimming, shaded picnic tables and barbecue facilities set amongst monsoon forest and tall paperpark trees where you can sit back and relax or enjoy the abundant birds and wildlife. - The water from the spring flows into numerous natural pools joining into Katherine river eventually.
The water has a delightful 30° Celcius (86 °F) and invites everybody to swim, dive or just enjoy the flowing water.
There is an abundant underwater life too and green underwater plants are moving in the soft current of the creek.

WE HAVE CROSSED THE BORDER! You guys, we are in beautiful Katherine in the Nothern Territory visiting the Katherine Hotsprings!

YOU GUYS, we did it!
We have made it to the Nothern Territory which marks the end of our Western Australia Road Trip series!
Our first stop in the Nothern Territory is beautiful Katherine and the gorgeous Katherine hot springs! These hot springs are located near the Low Level Caravan Park in Katherine and are WELL WORTH a visit, even just to wash away dusty Western Australia!
After our visit to the Katherine Hot Springs, we make it to Darwin and move into our new life in sunny Girraween, about 20 minutes from Darwin city center.
We hope you loved this Western Australia Road Trip series and we are so very grateful for all your support, likes, comments and subscribes!

Katherine Hot Springs
Ces sources thermales naturelles sont placées sur les banques(rives) sur Katherine River, dans Katherine Township. Il y a un certain nombre d'associations(de bassins) commençant avec l'association(le bassin) très supérieure, située directement à la source du printemps(ressort).
Les sources chaudes bouillonnantes ont une température moyenne de 25-30 degrés Celsius et sont ouvertes de 7h à 19h, quotidiennement.
L'association(Le bassin) principale a une rampe d'accès aux handicapés, des rampes en acier inoxydable et des pas(étapes) formés de la roche(du rock).
Il y a des zones(domaines) d'herbe grandes, ouvertes hachurées par de grands arbres, parfaits pour un pique-nique!

These natural thermal springs are situated on the banks of the Katherine River, within the Katherine township, and comprise of a series of clear pools framed by native vegetation.
Once, the main pool was simply an indentation at the edge of the Katherine River, but now the area is a place to relax, enjoy swimming in the pools, the picnic grounds and scenic walking tracks.

21. Riverview Tourist Village, Katherine NT
Riverview Tourist Village in Katherine.
We were given a huge site here providing us heaps of room.
There are several amenities blocks all which are good and a pool. The park also has a fuel station, restaurant and cafe are onsite. Alcohol can also be purchased.
Staff are very helpful and friendly ????
It has great walking tracks to the river close by which leads to the hot water springs only 400m away.
For us 3 adults with our Top Tourist membership it is $53.10 per night
Our stay here was July 18-20, 2016
