This short walk (30 minutes return) links two of Katoomba's main attractions. There are very few steps and the track is in good order.
A short diversion down to Vaniman's Lookout provides great views of the Falls, but does have about 60 steps.
At Scenic World there is a range of attractions (Skyway, Scenic Railway and Cableway), food outlets and souvenir shop. The iconic Katoomba Falls Kiosk is at the beginning of the track.
There is plenty of parking at either end and regular buses serve both locations.

Katoomba Falls is the focus for a group of walking tracks which take the visitor to numerous lookouts and beauty spots around the cliff lines of Jamison Valley and into the valley itself.
Parking is good and there is good public transport coverage. It's easy to plan several days walking from this great spot.

A great walk, especially if you are going downhill! What makes it even easier is that you can catch the Scenic Railway back up again.
There are superb views of Katoomba Falls and the surrounding cliffs. This is one of the classic Blue Mountains walks, popular since the Federal Pass opened in 1900.

Blue Mountains Walks: Cascade Street to Katoomba Falls Reserve NSW Australia

If you're planning to walk from Katoomba railway station to Katoomba Falls (which lots of people do every day), try this as an alternative route to walking through the town centre.
Turn right at the pedestrian crossing and go up two streets to Cascade Street, then follow it all the way down to its end. The track straight in front of you takes you down to the Katoomba Falls Reserve, where you have head off in several directions, as explained in the video.
This is the historic way to get to the falls and appears on maps from the 1880's. It's probably the route the coal miners took to walk up to the town centre.
