There are number of Jain Temples in Pune, situated in several districts of the city. The biggest and most famous amongst them, however, is the one situated at Katraj. It is known as the Katraj Jain Temple or Agam Mandir. If you happen to be in Pune, this should be on your visit list.
The temple is situated on a small hillock that accompanies the Pune-Satara Highway. Beautiful view of the city can be observed from the top of this hill. The sight at night is especially magnificent.
This temple contains a golden-shaded Lord Mahavir idol which is made of Panch-Dhatu (five metals).

An extravagant temple, constructed with very immense yet detailed architecture, by the BAPS Sri Swaminarayan Sanstha . It is a pleasant addition to Pune. Situated on the Bangalore-Mumbai side of the highway,This temple aims to replicate the looks of the Delhi Akshardam temple.
The temple features 2 storeys, of which the ground floor hosts the dasavatars of Lord Vishnu alongwith devoted swami’s. The first floor hosts Sri Laksminarayan swami, Sri Nityananda swami, Sri Ghanshyam maharaj, Sri Balaji.
Each idol is well maintained and has very beautiful sculpting. Every idol is hosted in a beautifully teakwood carved mandap. The temple interiors are also full of sculptures depicting the various lords including the ceilings as well as pillars.
After dawn the temple appears to be more colorful with the lighting arrangements made by the sanstha. There also canteens available for food. Parking space is more than ample. There's a sheltered refreshments stall serving snacks and beverages.
A very peaceful, calm and recreational place for a relaxing visit with family and friends.Prefer to reach half an hour before sunset.
Temple is open from 05:00 am to 12:00 noon and 04:00 pm to 08:00 pm

The foundation-stone laying ceremony was performed as per Vedic rituals for the new shikharbaddh BAPS Shri Swaminarayan Mandir in Pune, Maharashtra. Pujya Bhaktipriya Swami (Pujya Kothari Swami) performed the shilanyas rituals on this auspicious occasion. The shilanyas ceremony was attended by over 1,300 devotees.

Katraj Lake (Katraj Talav or Peshwa's Katraj Lake) was surprised to see the Lake in beautiful and innovative look which is developed and decorated by Pune Municipal Corporation.
Now a day this lake is the prime attraction at Katraj which is 10 km away from Pune city.
This Lake has artificial island with the statue of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj placed at center.
The biggest flag of India,100kg and 90’x60' at a height of 237 feet was hoisted at Katraj Lake, Pune on 15th Aug 2016.
