アキーラさん訪問①福井県・勝山城Katsuyama-castle,Fukui,Japan,
福井県を通り、石川県に向かう途中に柴田勝家で有名な柴田家が戦国時代～安土桃山時代に納めていた場所。勝山城は、戦国時代の天正8年に柴田勝家の一族である柴田勝安によって築城された。現在の市役所付近が城跡中心部で、市役所と公民館があるあたりが本丸跡であり、市役所前の道路付近に堀が設けられていた。天守台や石垣が昭和40年まで残っていたが、市民会館建設に伴い撤去され、現在は市民会館敷地に城址の碑が建つのみである。城跡近辺に、日本一の高さの模擬天守を持つ勝山城博物館が建てられているが、歴史上の勝山城とは位置、形式ともに関係はない。
House where the famous Shibata Shibata Katsuie was paid to the Azuchi-Momoyama Period - Period of Warring States in the middle through Fukui Prefecture, Ishikawa Prefecture towards. Katsuyama Castle, was built by a family of weak Katsuie Shibata Shibata wins in eight years of the Warring States period Tensho. Near the ruins of a castle in the heart of the current city hall, there is a community center around City Hall and the main enclosure is a trace, moat had been provided near the road at City Hall. It was left up to the year 1965 a stone wall and tower units are removed with the construction the city center, is currently the only monument of Castle stands on the site city center. Near ruins, Katsuyama Castle Museum with a mock castle tower of the height of the Japan but has been built, there is no relationship between the position in both form and Katsuyama Castle on the history.

快晴になったので、福井県勝山市平泉寺町平泉寺にある、「勝山城博物館」をPhantom4 Proで空撮して来ました。「勝山城博物館」は勝山市出身の実業家、相互タクシーの創始者、多田清氏の手により1992年( 平成4年)に建築されました。高さが57.8mあり、日本一の高さです。天守閣からは、「白山平泉寺」や大師山清大寺「越前大仏」・勝山市の街並みを望む事が出来ます。

“Yume O-re Katsuyama” is a memorial museum of silk weaving industry in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture. “Yume” means dream and “O-re” means weave.
In Katsuyama City, the weaving industry started in the Meiji era. At that time, Katsuyama was known for its silk weaving. You can see weaving machines of the Showa era still working in the museum.
There, we learned about the interesting history of weaving industry in Katsuyama City.

Day 23 - Travelling from Fukui City to Katsuyama
After the busy day in Kanazawa, we had a relatively quiet one on this day - visit the Dinosaur Museum in Fukui. What we didn't consider was how long it would take us to reach there - at least an hour by foot from the Katsuyama train station. None the less, the snowcapped mountains were beautiful, and the train was comfortable.

I visited Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture with Mr. Ugyen Dorji’s family from Bhutan.
Mr. Ugyen Dorji is studying at University of Fukui as a teacher trainee from Bhutan since around October of 2017. And the end of March of 2018, his family arrived in Japan as well.
They were very excited to see all the exhibited dinosaur skeletons. They said that they felt as if they were in a dinosaur movie. Mr. Ugyen Dorji’s son enjoyed riding the long escalator at the museum as well.
Over 80% of the dinosaur fossils in Japan were found in Fukui, so Fukui Prefecture is known as a “dinosaur kingdom”. At Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum, there are 44 complete dinosaur skeletons exhibited, over 1,000 samples and many other interesting exhibits.

［ちょっと廃墟散策］B級スポット？の勝山城博物館と越前大仏に行ってみた
福井県勝山市で目を引く建物が２つあります。
それは、勝山城博物館と越前大仏です。
B級スポット、珍スポット扱いされていますが、
実際行ってみると、なかなか立派なものでした。
でも閑散としていて、
廃墟探索気分にもなりました…。
いろんな意味で、見ごたえがありすぎて、
恐竜博物館へ行く時間がなくなってしまいました…。

Echizen Daibutsu (the Great Buddha) -Bhutanese Family in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture 2-

As we introduced in our previous video that I visited Fukui Prefectural Dinosaur Museum in Katsuyama City, Fukui Prefecture with Mr. Ugyen Dorji and his family. After we left the museum, we headed to Seidai-ji Temple to see Echizen Daibutsu (the Great Buddha of Daishizan Seidai-ji Temple).
The Great Buddha of Daishizan Seidai-ji Temple is 2 meters taller than the Great Buddha of Nara!
Even the Great Buddha is very big and tall, Mr. Ugyen Dorji’s son who is only 2 years old didn’t even get overwhelmed and/or scared. As soon as he walked into the Hall of the Great Buddha, he was running around with smile. He put his hands together and prayed respectfully.
Gojyuu-no-tou (five-story pagoda) is about 75 meters tall. There is an elevator available in the building, so visitors can go up easily and enjoy the scenery from the top floor.
