I was sooooo lucky to get a room but you better book MONTHS in advance! Also stunning throughout the year with many wild animals and amazing landscapes, the White Cranes are here all the year and do not migrate to other countries!!

we can see Red-crowned cranes in Tsurui, Steller's eagles and White-tailed eagles in Rausu, and Brown bear in Shiretoko. We can get to there about 1 or 1.5 hour from Kawayu-spa we live in.
