今年も2月20日に河津桜を撮影に行ってきました。開花の声を聞いてからかなり時間が経っても開花が進みませんでしたが、今週に入って春の陽気になり、一気に開花が進んで見頃になりました。これから1〜2週間位が見頃ではないでしょうか。河津桜まつりは2月10日から3月10日まで開催されています。出来るだけ早い時期にお出かけください。これからの天気予報はあまりよく無いのが気がかりですが。
河津桜は、何度見ても本当に艶やかで綺麗です。これを見慣れると、白いソメイヨシノがちょっと寂しく感じます。今年の河津桜は、例年にも増して、色が美しく感じられましたが、気のせいでしょうか？
それにしても、有名になって観光客が増えましたね。特に中国の人が団体で大挙して来ていたのは驚きました。中国人が好きそうな色合いの桜ですから頷けますね。

Beautiful scenes of Kawazu Cherry Blossoms Festival at Kawazu-Cho in south Izu was shot on 20th February, 2019. This cherry tree called Kawazu-sakura is a little bit different species from usual cherry trees called Somei-yoshino. The color is darker pink and change colors reflecting sunshine. Kawazu-sakura's period of blooming last longer, and start blooming much earlier than Somei-yoshino. So that we can enjoy it for about a month from late February. The Kawazu Cherry Blossoms Festival is held from February 10th to March 10th every year at Kawazu-cho in south Izu. Please enjoy beautiful cherry blossoms in full bloom.

Kawazu Sakura is a kind to flower earliest in Japan, and it will be in full bloom in the end of February. Kawazu is located in Izu Shizuoka Japan and here is the place Kawazu Sakura was discovered in 1955. In Kawazu, the Sakura Festival is opened every year from end of February to beginning of March.

撮影：April2015 夜桜も美しい弘前さくらまつり（ディスカバーニッポン）。青森県弘前市にある公園内は、広さ約49.2ha、東京ドーム10個分以上の敷地で、三重の濠と土塁に囲まれ、６つの郭で構成されている。現在の天守は文化8年(1811)に再建され、弘前城史料館として藩の史料を展示し、当時の風情を偲ばせている。園内の桜は、正徳5年（1715）、西の郭に25本の桜を植えたのが最初と伝えられる。現在のサクラは、明治維新後、荒れ放題のお城を見た旧藩士が少しずつ植えていき、昔の姿を取り戻そうと大部分は明治以降に植えられたもの。天守閣を中心にソメイヨシノをはじめシダレザクラ、ヤエザクラなど約50種2600本の桜が咲き誇り、春は大勢の人出で賑わう。
Hirosaki Park Cherry Blossom Festival
Hirosaki Park is one of Japan's best cherry blossom spots.
This park is an ancient castle located in Hirosaki, southwest Aomori Prefecture on the northern tip of the main island of Honshu in Japan.
At night, the trees in full bloom are illuminated.
The history of the cherry trees in Hirosaki Park can be traced back to 1715, when samurai of the Tsugaru clan planted 25 cherry trees on the grounds of Hirosaki Castle.
The park boasts about 2,600 trees belonging to approximately 50 varieties.
Every year, more than two million people from all over Japan visit Hirosaki during the period of the festival.

Atami (熱海市 Atami-shi) is a city located in the eastern end of Shizuoka Prefecture, Japan.
As of September 2015, the city had an estimated population of 37,287 and a population density of 603 people per km2. The total area was 61.78 km2 (23.85 square miles).
Atami is located in the far eastern corner of Shizuoka Prefecture at the northern end of Izu Peninsula. The city is on the steep slopes of a partially submerged volcanic caldera on the edge of Sagami Bay. The name Atami literally means hot ocean, a reference to the town's famous onsen hot springs. The city boundaries include the offshore island of Hatsushima. Most of Atami is located within the Fuji-Hakone-Izu National Park. Warmed by the Kuroshio Current offshore, the area is known for its moderate maritime climate with hot, humid summers, and short winters.
Atami has been known as a resort towncentered on its hot springs since the 8th century AD. In the Kamakura period, Minamoto Yoritomo and Hōjō Masako were notable visitors. During the Edo period, all of Izu Province was tenryō territory under direct control of the Tokugawa shogunate. During the cadastral reform of the early Meiji period in 1889, Atami village was organized within Kamo District, Shizuoka. It was elevated to town status on June 11, 1894, and was transferred to the administrative control of Tagata District, Shizuoka in 1896.
The epicenter of the Great Kantō earthquake in 1923 was deep beneath Izu Ōshima Island in Sagami Bay, close to Atami, which suffered considerable damage, as did other municipalities throughout the surrounding Kantō region. The tsunami wave height reached 35 feet at Atami, swamping the town and drowning three hundred people.

Hirosaki Sakura Cherry Blossom Festival, Japan
Cherry blossom is speculated to be native to the Himalayas. Currently it is widely distributed, especially in the temperate zone of the Northern Hemisphere such as: Europe, West Siberia, South Korea, China, Japan, United States, etc. Hirosaki City in Aomori prefecture is located in the northern tip of the main Honshu island, Japan. Hirosaki Park which surrounds the castle is home to more than 2,500 cherry trees making it one of the best spots to view the beautiful cherry blossoms in Japan. Over a million people enjoy the park’s cherry blossoms every year. In 1700's Cherry trees were first planted around Hirosaki Castle, but It is said that the numbers of trees was desolated at one time, but the many of trees has planted over in the beginning of the 1900's, thanks to people of japan to help for making Hirosaki Castle as beautiful as it is now. The annual Hirosaki Sakura Cherry Blossom Festival is held from April 23 to May 6 when the blossoms are at their absolute peak. The park bustles with people enjoying rental boats, stalls and the illumination of cherry blossoms at night.
Hirosaki Castle and its cherry blossoms are known as one of the best scenic spots in Japan, listed in the “100 best spots for cherry blossoms in Japan” selected by the government, “Japan’s 100 scenic spots where people and nature blend in harmony” and also listed in “Japan’s Top 100 Castles”.

The historic town of Hirosaki was established in the feudal era by the Tsugaru clan and is today one of Tohoku’s cultural centres.
