This route is a great road trip route. It’s a beautiful drive and will take you the whole day (8-10 hours) to complete. Breakfast, road trip, back in time for a later dinner. You’ll see a lot of coast, wildlife and do a nice hike at Cape Point. Lil bit of everything.

Started at Buffels Bay... rough and not so nice... Quick drive to other side of the mountain and Simonstown was looking amazing!!!

Launched and 5 minutes of paddling .... WHAM!! Vas onto something!! A nice 7.5kg yellowtail!

To give you an idea, this is just over 8km of continuous white water with the longest flat pool being around 150m. Littered with siphons and fast flowing water it requires your full attention but is the most rewarding activity after a night of good rain!
