Kayaking in Samana
Kayaking on a stormy day in Samana Dominican Republic - the ocean was a bit rough and when we went out too far we capsized in a rather dramatic flip over, but it was an adrenalin pumping, must try, awesome experience! I could not film the whole thing as it became too dangerous and we paddled for dear life, but the start of our journey gives a good idea of what the experience was like.

Cabarete Tours Video
Cabarete tours video - This one-time farming hamlet is now the adventure-sports capital of the country, booming with condos and new development. Youll find a sophisticated, grown-up beach town, with top-notch hotels, and a beach dining experience second to none (not to mention the best winds and waves on the island). Cabarete is an ideal spot to base yourself for exploring the area -- youre within two hours drive of the best that the coast has to offer, and if you want to go surfing, or windsurfing, or kitesurfing, heck, you dont even need to leave town. Youll hear a babble of five or six languages as you walk Cabaretes single street, where the majority of the hotels, restaurants and shops are located.
