Sea Kayaking @ Perce Rock, Gaspesie with Avolo Plein Air
For more info:
I highly recommend going kayaking around the Perce Rock (or in French, Rocher Percé)! It was one of the coolest thing we did at Gaspesie! We got to paddle pretty close to the hole but for safety reasons, we couldn't approach it too much or else the rocks might fall on us.
Arctic Kayak Expedition Canada 2015: part 8 CROSSING RIVERS and SAND -COVERED SNOW
Spring is really alive and the weather is great. Several rivers now flow freely from the Brooks Range into the Arctic Ocean. Crossing them takes some effort. Heading east, past Komakuk Tower, the snow pack becomes too soft to walk over, while covered with sand, yes sand, the sand of a storm blowing over the beach. Mountains make way for large hills, widing the landscape, the Sky seems to have gained strength over matter. It is remote, remoter, remotest: a relief to discover my gear is working properly, it can be fully relied on.
