Majestic Ocean Estate in Kealia, Hawaii | Sotheby's International Realty
Presented by Oceanfront Sotheby's International Realty
For more information go to
Pu’uwai ‘O Kealia (Heart of Kealia), a remarkably pure and private estate found at the gateway to the north shore. The sprawling, single level home boasts lines reminiscent of the traditional, plantation style of old word Hawaii. The two master suites are each accompanied by outdoor lava rock shower gardens. A meandering, covered lanai wraps the ocean facing side of home. The 20X50 saline pool is surrounded by natural basalt which accentuate the deep blue pacific hues beyond. Your very own Kauai resort lies just beyond the private gated entry. As you drive into your porte cochere you begin to sneak views of the ocean. When you take a step inside, you’re overwhelmed by a sense of perfection. The stunning interior décor, hand-selected by Interior Designer Stephen Zeffert, is a demonstration of superior artistry. Built by one of Kauai’s most sought after and relevant contractors, R.S. Weir, even the smallest of details were addressed. With tankless water heating, new A/C system, state of the art security and surveillance system and Vantage lighting system there is nothing left to do, but relax and unwind – Kauai style.
If it’s ocean time you seek, the footpath down to Kuna Bay is just outside. Head down to catch the morning surf or simply plant your toes in the sand and relax on the secluded beach. If health and fitness are part of your routine, there will be no interruptions here. The home gym is replete with everything you need to push yourself to the next level. A sports court is a perfect addition too. An afternoon game of tennis or basketball are ready when you are.

Hiking Kealia Trail - Oahu, Hawaii
Hey guys! In this vlog, we hiked Kealia Trail on Dillingham Airfield in Hawaii's North Shore. The trail offers a panorama view of the ocean and a fun location to watch planes, gliders, and skydivers. The hike is easy to moderate and easily accessible. The trail will take 3-4 hours roundtrip, but it is definitely worth the experience. Thanks for watching guys!

Jess and I seen this person who was obviously disturbed, trying to get run over by a busy highway, next to Kealia Beach. He was literally on the road or faking like he was going to cross. Very dangerous for himself and for passing vehicles. Thanks for watching our brave Kauai cops take care of the situation. Mahalo.
The mayor of Kaua'i might want to consider putting some police on bike patrol on the bike path. It is getting dangerous!

KEALIA TRAIL HD Waydes World Hawaii
HIKE (Easy/Moderate) CHILD FRIENDLY. Kealia trail is good for the entire family. Across from where you park the hike takes you down a stoned road. You will see the Yellow and brown trail sign. Go around the chain and keep that concrete hanger on your right. In a few mins you should make it to the TRAILHEAD. At the base of the ridge follow the trail up the switchbacks. The views are great the entire way up and at the top is a covered picnic bench to chill and eat lunch. At the picnic table, however, there is no view as you are in a small pine forest but you are under cover from the heat. Summer this place can be brutal so bring plenty of fluids. The trail is VERY DRY and ROCKY. I have been on many trails and this is one of the rockiest I have been on. This also tells me something else...all these loose rocks are coming from somewhere on this trail, ABOVE! What this tells me and from the look of the trail is the clear signs of rock falls. Some VERY BIG ONES, luckily off trail. So, I'm not scaring anyone but what I am telling you is to be very aware of your surroundings and if you have children stay close to them. The trail of this hike is very safe but there is major erosion. It can be seen clearly around you so have those ears and eyes wide open and always stop and look up along the switchback ridge so you can see any rock over hangs to be safe. Your children or dogs if you bring them are your major concern here so be safe. This hike is about 3-4 miles total time. Put a side 3 hours for the entire family to chill out, take pictures and eat a lunch. It is best to go early on this hike if in the summer months because of the heat/sun and exposure to those on this trail. There is cover at the start and at the end of the trail but the rest is in the sun. If you are up for it you can also hike the beautiful and easy Kaena point which is a short hike along the ocean. To reach this trailhead continue left outside the airport and drive about 5 more mins until the road ends and you can't go any further and park at the Kaena Parking lot Trailhead on the right ocean front. Great chance to take come amazing photos, it's beautiful!
If you want to hike this trail it can get a little confusing to those who don't live here so I am giving you the exact directions to the North Shore. From Waikiki take H1 west. Go north on H2 North until highway ends, turning into route 99 North. Pass Schofield Barracks on the left. The road narrows and dips, then forks. Take the left fork at light (Route 803). Now the road becomes VERY WINDY. Continue through flashing yellow light (Thompson's Corner) now Route 930. At a small traffic circle go left under the overpass, bridge. Pass Waialua Intermediate School on left. Dillingham Field and Glider port will be on left. Take the second entrance at the end of the airport (open 7AM to 6PM daily). Go around the end of the runway, following road to a small airfield tower and park in the adjacent parking lot. The hike starts across from the Parking lot. You will walk a short distance down a stone roadway until the trailhead starts.

Kauai Island, Hawaii, USA 4K (UHD)
Kauai Island known also as the Garden Island. The tiny tropical island. This is one of the three Hawaiian islands that I decided to visit. I spent three days there, drove 315 miles by car and visited, incl. the places described below. My hotel was in the Kapaa area. It is geologically the oldest and northernmost island of the main Hawaiian Islands. Some parts of Kauai are only accessible by sea or air. Island is characterized by its wealth of lush, rich lands, including vast tropical rainforests, jaw-dropping mountains and stunning beaches. Part of Kauai’s unique charm is the fact that the island has remained relatively undeveloped.
