Oahu Island, Hawaii West, East & North Shore
Oahu Island is home to roughly one million people - about two-thirds of the population of the U.S. state of Hawaii. The city of Honolulu, largest city, state capital, and main deepwater marine port for the State of Hawaiʻi is located here.
Well-known features found on Oʻahu include Waikiki, Pearl Harbor, Diamond Head, Hanauma, Kaneʻohe Bay, Kailua Bay, North Shore.
I spent five days on Oahu Island, drove 340 miles by car and visited, incl. the places described below. My hotel was in Honolulu.
Links to other movies from the island of Oahu I put in the description.

OAHU, HAWAII - Spearfishing Yokohama Bay - Dec 2015
Check out our website (
Spearfishing off the shore of Yokohama Bay (Yokes) in Oahu, Hawaii. You'll discover beautiful Yokohama Bay when you head towards the most west northern tip of Oahu, known to as Ka’ena Pt. Also referred to as Keawaula Beach, this Oahu beach resides in one of the most secluded areas of the island. Most tourists never see this side of Oahu. When people claim to have driven around the island, the Westside is typically cut out since the road dead ends at Yokohama Bay, and the most sensible route is to head up and around the North Shore. But there is something to be said for discovering the quiet Westside of the island, which tends to be more local and simple. Yokohama Bay is pristine beautiful, untouched by development for miles around, and framed by the Waianae Mountain Range in the background. You’ll usually find this Oahu beach empty, with an extensive sandy beach to explore all to yourself. 81-780 Farrington Hwy, Kapolei, HI 96707

Ka'ena Point 10.07.13
Ka'ena Point is the westernmost tip of land on the island of Oahu. The point can be reached on foot from both the East (via Oʻahu's North Shore / Mokulēʻia) and Southeast (via Waiʻanae Coast). We hiked it from Wai'anae coast. We parked at the end of Yokohama beach, where the road ends. We walked about 3 miles to Ka'ena point. Walking from our car to Ka'ena point was nice. We started about 3:45pm, it was perfect because the sun wasn't as scorching like it would be at 1 in the afternoon. The wind was blowing a little so it made it cooler. While at Ka'ena Point we saw 2 Hawaiian monk seals sunbathing and relaxing on the beach. We stayed to watched the sunset and it was the right decision. The sunset was amazing and made the experience worth coming. By the time we got back to the car it was about 7:30pm, lucky thing the iPhones comes with a flashlight icon. This hike was fairly easy, but it felt like it goes on forever. It's a good place where hardly anyone goes. Enjoy, be safe and hike on...

West Side Caves Explored on July 22, 2012.
After fire burned off much of the brush at Keawa`ula we decided to explore the area. We knew there was a cave behind the enclosure and were ready to explore.
Also we found that it looks like there is an inner room/chamber in the Kaneana Cave. But many small rocks will have to be removed to allow a human to slide into it.
