This complete show is also offered as separate song clips on my channel for those who want to comment on specific performances, or share/link specific songs to others.
Since 2008, I had many of these songs on my channel, captured from old VHS tapes (recorded from the MuchMusic broadcast literally in 1989). Of course, VHS is 240p at best... and the sound was mono, cable-TV quality... the images were dark and grainy... and the tape was 25+ years old. They were the only clips of this show on YouTube. Now it's time for them to be replaced with the best it's going to get... the DVD from the original broadcast master!
This MuchMusic/ChumCity production was licensed to SwedenRock, appearing on their FILL YOUR HEAD WITH ROCK CD/DVD Greatest Hits compilation distributed only by Universal Music Sweden. Not available in Canada or the USA. To us, this is what you call a Rare Import... I finally found one after all these years.
These new 2015 uploads are all sourced from the DVD. This is as good as it's going to get. For 25+ years old, it ain't bad ! A lot of the people in the crowd are now seniors, remember !
CRANK IT UP. Sound is CD-quality and now full stereo. The sound of the room, live PA, crowd, etc... all comes through. A tight bass-boost was added to the EQ for modern speaker systems with subs.

This video is of Xavier talking about the beautiful country of Canada and the strength of our oppressed aboriginal people and goes into Messages. This venue is 10 minutes from the Wahta Mohawk Reservation. Built on a lakeshore, this wooden venue was established in 1942 and is an amazing place to see any concert, let alone Xavier Rudd. With everyone dancing you could feel the old wooden floor flexing beneath you. Wow is the only way to describe this show.....

This is a near holy performance of All We Are... a time capsule of how good this song can be live. Peter at his best, the perfect club, the perfect crowd, the perfect sound, and the perfect tone. To top it all off, there is something VERY particular about Kim's extended guitar solo outro... it simply bleeds. It gives me chills every time I watch it. A lot of shred guitar players could learn a lot about how much you can get out of ONE note if you FEEL it. Wow. Kim...freakin'...owns on this one.
