【Narita International Airport#7】Go to downtown Ueno by Keisei Skyliner
There are about 60 kilometers to the west from here Narita Airport to the Tokyo downtown. Will you go to the Tokyo downtown by bus or by train? This time, we will introduce Skyliner of Keisei Electric Railway connecting Narita Airport and Ueno of “Shitamachi” downtown.
From Narita Airport Station, the Skyliner goes to Ueno Station via Airport Terminal 2, Nippori Station in about 40 minutes. Even if you get off at either station of Ueno and Nippori, the rate is 2,470 yen (child 1,240 yen).
Well, We go to downtown Ueno by Keisei Skyliner leaving Narita Airport Station at 14:38.

Keisei Line From Narita to Nippori
There are several Keisei Lines.
The Keisei Skyliner is a fast and convenient way to travel to Narita Airport from Tokyo. It departs Keisei Ueno Station and only has one stop at Nippori Station.
I always take the Rapid Express Green version which is cheap and also it will reach about 1 hour 30mins.
For extra 400 Yen you can be on Keisei Liner.

Tokyo Skyliner transfer from Narita Airport to Tokyo City + Commuting Guide in Japan #60 (Day 1)
Our first day in Japan was mostly allocated to commuting from Manila to Narita Airport, and from Narita to Tokyo. Upon our arrival at the airport, we decided to accomplished three basic travel needs: exchange money, get the airport transfer ticket and of course, eat.
We tried the famous Tokyo Skyliner which is a more affordable way of doing a transfer from the airport to the main city. And it took us only 45 minutes to arrive in Tokyo and transfer to another train line towards Shinjuku.

Wheels down, you have landed at Narita Airport your next step is to grab your bags, clear customs and then make your way to Tokyo. Narita airport is located about 60 kilometers east of Tokyo and the options for getting to from Narita to Tokyo are many and varied from Train, bus, taxi and even helicopter. For the first time visitor, the variety can seem a bit overwhelming. Depending on where your final destination is in Tokyo, one way may be more convenient than an other. Let us sort out the confusion.
Tokyo is a vast metropolitan area, with over 770 square miles to explore. Locals speak of Tokyo’s geography in terms of Train Lines. There’s a loop line around central Tokyo called the Yamanote Line. The neighborhoods on this line and the neighborhoods with in the loop are all considered downtown Tokyo. The Yamanote loop includes six stations the serve as Tokyo’s main connecting hubs: Shinjuku, Ikebukuro, Tokyo, Shibuya, Shinagawa and Ueno stations. Anything outside the Yamanote loop is considered uptown or suburbia. This makes Tokyo’s downtown massive: the loop is 21.4 miles around.
All of this is important when considering transportation options from Narita Airport. One express train may be better for you than the other depending where in Tokyo you need to go.

The Skyliner (スカイライナー sukairainā) is a limited-express airport train service between Tokyo and Narita Airport in Japan. It is operated by Keisei Electric Railway and runs on the Narita Sky Access route. This article also covers the Morningliner (モーニングライナー mōningurainā) and Eveningliner (イブニングライナー ibuningurainā) services.
The Skyliner service operates between Keisei Ueno Station and Narita Airport Terminal 1 Station, with stops at Blue Ribbonand Narita Airport Terminal 2·3 Station.

The Fastest And Cheapest Way To Go From Tokyo To Narita Airport - Keisei Skyliner
The Keisei Skyliner is a quick way (36 to 41 minute depending on what terminal you go and which station to take it, Ueno or Nippori) to easily access Narita airport from Tokyo.
About the fare, I did not realize that money had been taken from my Suica. So the total amount was 2470 yen one way to the airport!

Yamanote line & Keisei Line
Two very useful train lines.
Both Private companies, operated by Keisei Group, Japan Railways (JR)
It is cheaper to use Keisei Line from Narita Airport, and Connect on to Yamanote line that operates as a circle line of Tokyo.
Changing at Nippori or Ueno Station will connect to central Tokyo Rail and Metro system.
