Kekuli Bay Provincial Park, BC - YouTube
We were driving to Vernon to check on bee's and other things and as we passed Kalamalka Lake in the Okanagan Valley we decided to take a side trip to Kekuli Bay Provincial Park. The natural beauty of this park with all the wildflowers, birds and spectacular scenery instantly made our decision worth while. Cindy and I were soon engulfed in what we love to do, filming the amazing beauty around us to share on our YouTube channel.

Kalamalka Lake in Coldstream BC - Lake of Many Colours
Kalamalka Lake is a glacial lake, and means Lake of Many Colours. And for good reason - the beautiful green-blue the lake turns in the summertime. The main inflow is from Wood Lake located to the south and connected by a canal at Oyama. The lake is drained by Vernon Creek[2] which exits at the north end, passes through the city of Vernon, and flows into the Okanagan Lake.
Kalamalka Lake has several beaches. Kal Beach and Cosens Bay Beach are in the heart of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park. Some of the other beaches on this lake are Jade Bay Beach, Juniper Bay Beach, Kekuli Bay Beach, Kirkland Park Beach, and on the south end, Kaloya Regional Park Beach.
Two provincial parks are situated along Kalamalka Lake, Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park and Kekuli Bay Provincial Park.
OUTDOOR VACATION DESTINATION - KAYAKING KALAMALKA LAKE - VERNON - BRITISH COLUMBIA
VERNON - BRITISH COLUMBIA - CANADA'S OUTDOOR VACATION DESTINATION
The perfect outdoor day spent kayaking on Kalamalka Lake. The lake has a sandy bottom making the water appear emerald green. In the shallow area of the lake you can easily see the bottom.
Kalamalka Lake is also a home to many great beaches. Kal beach and Cosens Bay Beach, which lies right in the heart of Kalamalka Lake Provincial Park, are two of the popular beaches developed on the shores of the lake. Some of the other beaches on this lake are Jade Bay Beach, Juniper Bay Beach, Kekuli Bay Beach, Kirkland Park Beach, and on the south end, Kaloya Regional Park Beach.
