Not only is Kelso beautiful to visit (you should see how the escarpment changes in each season), but there is also so much to do: camping, picnicking, mountain biking, a ski hill, stand-up paddle boards, swimming, and even movies under the stars! You’re not bereft of choice when you visit Kelso Conservation Area.
This video was taken during our visit in Aug 2019, Sunny day with a fantastic breeze. The kids had a blast and we closed the day on a Kayak for each 2 of us.

Kelso Conservation Area Spring Hike, Milton Canada
Home to the Attawandaron, this 400 hectare area was the 1830 Alexander farm. Conservation Halton dammed Sixteen Mile Creek in 1961 for Kelso Lake reservoir. The Niagara Escarpment's Milton Outlier was quarried for limestone in the 1900-era lime kilns. The Bruce Trail and Glen Eden Ski Area use the slopes today.

3 professional mountain bike world champions ride the trails of Kelso Conservation Area in Milton, Ontario, in an attempt to patrol and monitor questionable behavior from other, less powerful, and weaker, mountain bike gangs.
Visiting Kelso Conservation Area
Kelso Conservation Area near Milton, Ontario has an area of 3.97 square kilometers and contains Lake Kelso and has a sandy beach for swimmers in the summer with a food concession and boardwalk. During warmer months the Boat Rental shop offers the rentals of canoes, kayaks, paddle boards, paddle boats and is also open to any non-motorized watercraft.
The Park also offers 20 campsites, 18 reserve-able picnic sites, and two camping/picnic mixed sites. Glen Eden Ski & Snowboard Centre is located in the park and offers downhill skiing, snowboarding, and tubing during the winter months. In addition, the Halton Region Museum is also located on the Kelso grounds. The park also features marked mountain biking and hiking trails.
