Mr. Speaker,
I rise today to honor the extraordinary life of Admiral Frank Benton Kelso II, a great American and true son of Tennessee. On Sunday, June 23rd, Tennessee's 4th Congressional District and our country lost this great American hero.
To describe Admiral Kelso as honorable, principled and dedicated would be insufficient. His achievements and individual character are matched only by his patriotism and love of country.
Admiral Kelso's seventy-nine year life included a gallant and decorated forty-two year career in the United States Navy.
Admiral Kelso graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1956 and began his illustrious career in the Navy by joining the nuclear submarine program where he would later command two nuclear submarines.
In 1986 the Admiral commanded the Atlantic Fleet, planning military actions against Libya that significantly curbed Moammar Gaddafi's terrorist activities.
In 1990, he earned the position of Chief of Naval Operations -- the Navy's top uniformed officer. During this time he successfully led naval operations in the Persian Gulf War.
In addition to his distinguished naval career, Admiral Kelso was a family man. He was happily married to Landess McCown Kelso for 56 years until she passed away last year. Together, they had four children and eight grandchildren.
He retired from the Navy in 1994 and in 2003 he returned to his hometown of Fayetteville, Tennessee where he would spend the last ten years of his life. These years were filled with love for his family and friends and service to his community.
I believe that there is no greater example of commitment to one's country than the life of Admiral Frank Kelso.
His legacy of integrity and courage truly exemplify the best of the United States Navy. To quote the celebrated song of our Navy, Here's wishing you a happy voyage home.

So suddenly they withdrew my invitation to speak to the free world but John was kind enough to acknowledge receipt of the Email that names all the culprits and even anti-treason researchers with the PASTOR in the chatroom (the 2000 year old religious fraud joke, like Gallipoli & the mr Bean Genocide Bel;ly laughs for the people that just take the cash to disposses innocents of everything in the countries they were born into UNLESS YOU ARE A PAGAN AND YOU ARE EXTINCT ALREADY ........for the ONE TRUE messianic money stream. So I am making videos alone again and am looking forward to EASTER without buying any merchandise to save my soul. The IRAQ war crimes remain unsolved by British law enforcement, the opublic sector pay freeze is a scandal and all the batards want to do is to continuing stealing from their electorates. They already own the issuance of money everywhere and I enjoy making videos alone with no friends to desert your cause until they become hard up for issues to taklk about THAT THEY HAVE NOW ACKNOWLEDGED COMPLICITY IN. John does not know where else they wear white helmets apart from Brighton & the Isle of Man wwhere Alex Salmond was prepared to adopt their financing model despite QEII's constitutional monarchy and Britain's GREATNESS. I caused offence with the other investigative journaklists by mid-afternoon but John has now conformed receipt of the message that went to the Air Force in America and the UK but none of the politicians, solicitors or news media confirmed receipt cause they understand the gravity of complicity in ECONOMIC GRAND LARCENY, GENOCIDE & LAW ENFORCEMENT GLOBALLY. Rule Britannia & Wellington I explained to John yesterday but it fell on deaf ears like the BIG EARS Winnie the POOKA genocides strictly for profit. I was unable to answer John's queries on chemotherapy but he was still prepared to talk openly then. We have two rats in our war memorial in Kelso but nobody knows what side they are on.

Kelso died on June 23, 2013 while visiting family in Virginia. A great place to visit but I wouldn’t recommended obtaining the key from the Lothian estates as the door is very hard to open and the stairs up are dangerous the views from the top are as good as on the ground and wire obscurers your view. The key costs £10 and the hassle frankly isn’t worth it.

The monument stands on top of Penielheugh hill,an ancient earthwork over 700 feet above sea level. It was built just after the battle of Waterloo to commemorate that historic event by the 6th marquis of Lothian, on one of the most enviable sites in Great Britain (no so great anymore) It is a hollow pillar about 150f tall, with a spiral staircase of 226 steps giving access to the wooden viewing gallery.

Tour Scotland wee video of old photographs of Bowden, a village in the Roxburghshire area of the Scottish Borders, situated 3 miles south of Melrose, 2 miles west of Newtown St Boswells and tucked in the shadow of the Eildon Hills. In 1113 when King David I of Scotland granted lands to the monks of Selkirk he also granted them the land at Bothandene, now Bowden, and Hailiedene, now Holydean. The charter was renewed in 1124 when the monks moved to Kelso where they founded the maginificent Kelso Abbey At the same time a religious establishment was founded at Bowden. The abbot of Kelso built a tower at Holydean which was destroyed in 1296. The tower was rebuilt and extend by Isabel Ker of Cessford and renamed Castle Holydean The castle became the home of the Ker family, later the Dukes of Roxburghe lived there for two centuries before finally being destroyed in 1760 by the 3rd Duke, John Ker. The Roxburghes moved to their new home Floors Castle in the early 18th century. In 1531, Bowden village was granted the right to hold a market, the first non burghal market in Scotland, and a market cross, which still stands today was erected, such was the importance of the village in mediaeval times. The cross is now used as the parish war memorial. The Bowden church and its predecessors have stood here for over 850 years. When the great Border Abbeys were being founded by David I, monks from Selkirk who were to found Kelso Abbey were granted land in Midlem, Bowden and Eildon. This grant was transferred to Kelso Abbey in 1128 and from then on there has been a Christian presence in Bowden. Thomas Aird was born on 28 August in 1802 at Bowden, Roxburghshire. His parents were James Aird, a builder, and Isabella née Paisley. After completing his education at the local parish school, Aird studied for an undergraduate degree at the University of Edinburgh. While at University, Aird met many writers, including John Wilson and James Hogg. After graduation, Aird resisted encouragements to become a Church of Scotland minister, instead remaining in Edinburgh to devote himself to writing. In 1848, he published a collection of his poetry, which was very well received. His last main literary work was editing an edition of the works of David Macbeth Moir in 1852. Aird died in 1876 in Castlebank, Dumfries, and was buried at St Michael's Church.

The U-S Naval Chief of Operations has died apparently after shooting himself in the chest.
Admiral Jeremy Michael Boorda's body was found in a side yard next to his quarters in the Washington Navy Yard.
His death comes in the wake of an investigation by Newsweek magazine calling into question the Navy Admiral's military decorations.
Admiral Jeremy Boorda - known as Mike - the United States' top naval officer has died after reportedly shooting himself in the chest.
His body was found at 2:05 pm local time - about an hour and a half after he had been told that Newsweek magazine was investigating whether he had worn medals to which he was not entitled.

Ladies and Gentlemen, it is my sad duty to report to you that Admiral Mike Boorda - Chief of Naval Operations - is dead. He was pronounced dead this afternoon at 2:30pm here at Washington D-C General Hospital. He was brought here from the Washington Navy Yard where he sustained a gunshot wound to the chest. The Washington D-C police and the Naval Criminal Investigating Service are investigating.

Boorda was due to have met a Newsweek reporter in his office at 2:30 p-m, local time.
But when he was told what the reporters wanted to interview him about, Boorda abruptly announced he was going home for lunch instead of eating the meal that had been brought into his office.
Newsweek was investigating whether Boorda had worn a combat V decoration from the Vietnam war that he was never officially awarded.

I had a meeting yesterday with Admiral Boorda concerning our programme - and he was in great spirits. We had an excellent meeting with him, the commandant of the Marine Corps and senior Navy and Marine Corps staff and he was in excellent spirits.

The navy has been rocked recently by a series of flying accidents and the Naval Academy is still mired in a scandal involving drug-use and other controversies.

U-S President Bill Clinton paid tribute to Admiral Jeremy Mike Boorda, the Navy's top officer, as a dedicated sailor whose deep sense of honour should not be questioned.
Clinton was speaking at a memorial service for Boorda in Washington attended by relatives as well as senior administration and navy officials.
Boorda, chief of naval operations, committed suicide last Thursday amid fears of a scandal about whether he had earned the right to wear certain combat medals on his uniform.
The memorial service for the late Admiral Jeremy Mike Boorda was held at Washington's National Cathedral.
Boorda's widow and relatives were accompanied by President and Mrs. Clinton, as well as several of the navy's top officials.
The ornate cathedral was crammed with naval officers of all ranks too.
Delivering the eulogy, President Clinton remembered Admiral Mike Boorda, the Navy's top officer, as a dedicated sailor whose deep sense of honour should not be questioned.

It is my belief that perhaps more than any other military officer in this country, Mike Boorda helped to lead us to the point of peace at Dayton, and there are countless thousands of people alive in Bosnia today because of this small man with a big heart, a large vision and great courage.

Like any great leader Mike's heart was with his people. He was a seaman who became an admiral and an admiral who never forgot the seamen, and nobody, nobody had more pride in his sailors.

Before the service, President Clinton visited the Pentagon to console senior naval officers after Boorda's death and give his condolences to the Admiral's own personal staff.
Boorda was buried Sunday at Arlington National Cemetery at a site just a few hundred yards from the Pentagon.
