How To Reach Kelva

By Road:From the Mumbai-Ahmedabad Highway No.8, take the left turn for the Varai - Safale Road or Manor - Palghar Road.

Bypass Palghar on the road and head directly to Kelva.Beach is near the Sitladevi Temple.

Distance by Road from Kelva : Palghar - 12 Kms, Manor-32Kms, Virar - 63 Kms, Vasai - 68Kms, Thane-105Kms, Dahisar Check Naka-95Kms, Mumbai (city)-140kms, Vapi-100kms, Valsad-120 kms, Surat-190kms, Daman-120kms, Jawahar-80 kms, Nashik-175kms, Pune - 045Kms.

At Kelwe Road or Palghar stations, special diesel tuk-tuk's large-sized Auto Rickshaws are available on a sharing basis to reach the Hotel at a very nominal cost. But if you prefer to have the own rickshaw to yourself.

By Air:Chatrapati Shivaji International Airport in Mumbai is the nearest international airport and after reaching Mumbai by air from anywhere in India and abroad tourists can travel either by road or by train to reach Kelva Beach according to their personal choice and preference.

Rail Connectivity:Kelva Beach is situated on the Western Express Railway Line and also has a small station named Kelwe Road Station. But not many trains stop here.Palghar is the nearest main station from Kelva.It has at least 15 Express Trains and periodic Shuttle Trains from Virar and Mumbai Central stations on the Western Railway coming down from Mumbai city.

Kelwa Beach is situated about 80 kilometres north of Mumbai. It is easily accessible from the Kelve Road station situated about 5 kilometres away. It is also a 25-minute ride on an 8-seater rickshaw from Palghar. It is around 13 kilometers from the highway. Kelwa Beach is also connected by state transport buses which make frequent trips from Palghar or Saphale and Kelwa Road Station.

Kelwa Beach, also known as Kelva Beach beach in Maharashtra, India. Kelwa Beach is situated about 80 kilometers north of Mumbai. The Shitla Devi Temple, is situated just besides the beach. It is believed that the two sons of Lord Rama, Luv and Kush, lived here when Mata Sita was in exile for the second time.

Kelva Beach is situated only at a distance of 80 km from Mumbai and can be easily reached either by taking the Mumbai-Ahmadabad Highway NH-48. Kelva beach is well connected by road with different parts of Maharashtra.
