Hallowell Maine Street Construction 2018
The west side of the 255 year old city is slowly sinking into the Kennebec River. The city/state hired a construction company to lower the street and take the crown from the maine thoroughfare, Rt 201. The construction is expected to last into the fall. Merchants are beside themselves. But it should be a hell of a lot better when finished.

All funds raised go directly to support more than 2,000 animals that find their way to the Kennebec Valley Humane Society. Erika Bush, Development Director at the KVHS joined us on the 92 Moose Morning Show, with more details.

Listening is a more natural way of learning, when compared to reading. Written language only began at around 3200 BC, but spoken language has existed long ago.
Learning by listening is a great way to:
- increases imagination and understanding
- improves your listening skills
- improves your own spoken accent
- learn while on the move
- reduce eye strain
Now learn the vast amount of general knowledge available on Wikipedia through audio (audio article). You could even learn subconsciously by playing the audio while you are sleeping! If you are planning to listen a lot, you could try using a bone conduction headphone, or a standard speaker instead of an earphone.

SUMMARY
=======
The East Coast Greenway is a 3,000-mile (4,800 km) biking and walking route linking the major cities of the Atlantic coast of the United States, from Calais, Maine, to Key West, Florida. The spine route and branching complementary routes are for non-motorized human transportation for everything from local commutes to long-distance trips.
The nonprofit East Coast Greenway Alliance was created in 1991. The entire route has been selected. As of July 2017, 900 miles (1,450 km), or 32 percent of the route, is off-road on traffic-protected greenways. The vision is for the entire trail to be off-road.
