Kennebunkport is a town in York County, Maine with a population around 3,500 people. The town center, the area in and around Dock Square, is located along the Kennebunk River, approximately 1 mile from the mouth of the river on the Atlantic Ocean. For well over a century the town has been a popular summer colony and seaside tourist destination. Kennebunkport has a reputation as a summer haven for the upper class and is one of the wealthiest communities in the state of Maine.
The Bush compound is the summer home of 41st President of the United States George H. W. Bush. It is located on Walker's Point. Walker's Point juts out into the Atlantic Ocean in in the town of Kennebunkport. The property has been a family retreat for more than a century.
In this video I visit the small town of Kennebunkport. I walk along Dock Square and across the Mathew J. Lanigan Bridge. I then drive out to Parson's Way for great views of the rocky coast and the Bush Compound.
While recording views of President H.W. Bush's estate at Walker point he came into view. Not knowing it at the time, I stopped recording just as he came into the picture. He was being pushed back into the house in his wheel chair. By the time I realized what had happened, and got the camera recording again, they pushed him into the house with his cute white dog there to greet him.

Kennebunkport Maine
Enjoy a 2 min aerial overview of Kennebunkport Maine in October. This quaint little community was originally incorporated in 1663 as Cape Porpus, then later renamed Arundel. Finally in 1921 is was named Kennebunkport. Much of this area was destroyed by the great York County fires of 1947, but has since recovered.

Town of Kennebunk versus Winter Storm Stella - 2017
The March 2017 North American blizzard was a major late-season blizzard that affected the Northeastern United States, New England and Canada, dumping up to 3 feet (36 in; 91 cm) of snow in the hardest hit areas, including Kennebunk, Maine.

Custom Built in 2007, this estate is available for rent for the first time in the prestigious and arguably the finest neighborhood of Cape Arundel in Kennebunkport. No expenses were spared in the home. A Niles audio system throughout every room in the home. Electronic controlled shades in each room. An elevator, central air conditioning. A fully equipped fitness center downstairs stocked with top of the line Cybex equipment and free weights. Upstairs, a game room of epic proportions. A mini theater setup, a Monopoly pinball machine, pool table, foosball table, shuffleboard table and it's own mini-kitchen and bathroom. Or play horseshoes in the yard behind the guesthouse. No shortage of amenities at this property.
In the East Wing: A spacious first floor master bedroom, king bed, a newly renovated his and her bathroom installed, a wet bar in the bedroom, access to the patio to the pool area. You'll find the ocean through about every window in the home. Two more bedrooms on the 2nd floor of the East Wing, the hallway with a door if you would like your privacy on this end of the home. Both bedrooms have King beds, and en-suite bathrooms. There is a family TV room off the hallway in this wing as well.
The West Wing of the home has two additional bedrooms as well as the Game Room. Both of these rooms have King sized beds as well, with their own en-suite bathrooms. The hallway has an office space if this is a work-cation.
Climbing to the peak of the house on the 3rd floor is the Widow Watch. Incredible views of the property as well as the Ocean and Walker's Point in Kennebunkport.
