Kentchurch Court, home of the Lucas-Scudamore family has survived for nearly 1000 years through political alliances, intrigue, advantageous marriages and strong women!
Lying beneath Garway Hill in the Monnow valley, close to the city of Hereford, this beautiful historic house and gardens are not to be missed whilst visiting #Herefordshire.
Features of the gardens include a Rhododendron wood, walled garden and a vegetable garden. Around 250 deer live in The Deer Park, where examples of ancient trees including Yew, Chestnut and a number of large Maple trees can be found.
Kentchurch Court is steeped in history dating back as far as 1058 and a must visit for those interested in history and gardens.

Kentchurch Estate.
Here is a little video i made of Kentchurch Estate where we are staying on the border of England and Wales. The most beautiful countryside i have ever seen, probably another reason i have been here for almost a month.Its 5,000 acres and has been in Carolina's family for over 1000 years. Now thats a pretty long time.... I filmed this on my flip video camera and the music i recorded in the forest with gypsy's and elfs from the local area. The top and most part of this description is true and so is the part about the elfs...Enjoy..

An Exclusive Stay At Dewsall Court
An exclusive stay at Dewsall Court in the Herefordshire countryside.
The luxury country house can be hired by anyone from families to film stars who want to get away from it all.
The house was originally built in 1644 but fell into disrepair by the 1960’s. It is rumoured locally that the SAS used the house to practise on for the Iranian Embassy siege.
The Robinson family restored the derelict house into a family house in the nineties and it became an exclusive use venue in 2009. It is now used for private parties, celebrations, weddings and exclusive holidays.

Summer Visit to Berrington Hall - Herefordshire - England
It's cold and dark here and I've been cleaning up my video ending program - Final Cut Pro X - and cam across film I made in the summer. It makes me feel all warm and cosy and feeling like summer can't be that far away.
Just some bits of film I took at Berrington Hall - an English country house in Herefordshire in England. It has classic Capability Brown countryside, which looks natural but is all designed to look wonderful for the lord of the manor as he looks out of his window in the morning!
