Keremeos, BC getaway| Vlog1| iamxsaii
A quick getaway to Keremeos, BC Canada. I had to give a friend a ride there so we took the time to explore the place a little bit and had so much fun on the road. Lots of singing, laughing, seeing beautiful places, and taking lots and lots of pictures of course and there was a really good thai restaurant that we discovered called Benja Thai Restaurant. Yummy authentic Thai Food!!! Fun times!

Long weekend getaway - Canada day with my boys
Road Trip to Keremeos and BC's Wild Fires We visit Parson's.
I needed a bit of a break and sometimes a good road trip will do the trick. The last week was a very tough week for me and I had to get some time away to spend time with family. So we went to the interior with my Mom and Brother and despite the forest fires all around BC. We went on a road trip.
Here we visit Keremeos BC Canada as one of our destinations to get fresh local produce. Right on Highway 3 heading east towards Alberta.
Here are some Yelp links of the places we commonly visit when going through this nice small town.

Description
Roadwork near Keremeos? In about 1939 or 1946?
I do not know the date but I am guessing at just before World War 2 or possibly right after the war. As far as I understand, work on new highways in BC were suspended during the war.
The landscape says to somewhere in the southern interior. Based on the look of the slopes, I think this could be part of the construction of the Hope Princeton Highway. If not that one, the highway from Keremeos to Princeton.
I think the town at the end is Keremeos - anyone want to weigh in?
The film comes from Dancing Kids YouTube channel and the footage was filmed by his grandfather

Keremeos, BC, is one of the great breadbaskets in our province, and if you're traveling the beautiful Highway 3 (also known as the Crow's Nest route) you MUST stop at Parson's Fruit Stand. There are many other fruit stands on this route, but Parson's stands out for their dedication to fresh, high quality fruit and local food products grown without pesticides. Keremeos, BC - The Columns
OK, words of advice: don't try and drive your Japanese sedan up the side of the mountain to see The Columns. The ruts in the trail are deeper than the car is big. U can leave parts up there pretty easily. Expensive parts. Hire a local 4x4 or pack a big lunch and lace on some hiking shoes. There is a very nice spring right up near The Columns.
