Boogie Bash 2017, Kettle River, Rock Creek, B.C., Canada by RSamson. Aerial drone
Went to the Boogie Bash again for the long weekend. This is just video of Kettle River that ran alongside of our campsite.
The river runs through a town named Rock Creek. Some of the campers took rafts and floaties upriver and spent 2 1/2 hours floating back to the campground. WiMiUS cam video of that to be posted soon. More drone videos of the boogie bash to be posted soon as well.
Kettle River Before The Fire! Kettle River, Rock Creek, BC
I spent the evening in this lovely campground and mistook and old train bridge for an old vehicle bridge which is converted into a walking bridge.
Link to Osoyoos video:
Three days later this bridge was the only safe passage from the blazing fire which burnt 100 square kilometers in the 'Rock Creek area!

Mountain Biking Kettle Valley Railway Trail - Beaverdell to Rock Creek Segment
Ride BC's iconic rail trail - The Kettle Valley Railway Trail. Ride along rivers, across bridges, through canyons and farmfields between the historic towns of Beaverdell and Rock Creek, British Columbia. Riding from the northern direction follows the river flow downhill making the riding easier, but with a smooth, groomed trail, it's fairly easy anyway. Suitable for riders of any level, and makes for a wonderful 2-3 hour outing.

Boogie Bash 2017 Accidental Sunset, Rock Creek, B.C., Canada by RSamson. Aerial drone
I was planning on flying to the end of the site and doing a flyover when the drone caught this sunset. From ground level as you can see in the video the sky is a greyish, smokey color and the sun is below the hills and out of sight. Only by being at this angel and this height could this be seen. I left the beginning so you can get the feel of what I experience as a drone pilot. Just doing a regular, nothing special video and unexpectedly seeing and capturing this.

Kettle River Provincial Park - Hiking The Kettle River
I was lucky enough to be able to do some fishing in the Kettle River this past July. The bite was super slow but we were able to catch some pikeminnow as well as I saw some massive rainbow trout. Fall opening should be just as fun.

Boogie Bash 2017,Rock Creek, B.C., Canada by RSamson. Aerial drone
Just a casual flyover of the Bash to see what's going on...The Viking does a smokeshow, some shots of a band playing and a climbing 360 of the campsite and surrounding area.
Prospecting Rock Creek
Drove 1100 kilometers to check out a claim on Rock Creek I saw on YouTube and Kijiji. Called the owner and got his permission to have a look around and prospect some. *Click SHOW MORE
Beautiful campsite, water falls, canyon, gold. The distance was a bit to much for my liking.
Thanks for the opportunity to have a look Dan!

Kettle River
Kettle River Provincial Campground Fire August 13th 2015.
The fire was on three sides of us preventing us from getting out of the park. I took these videos while we were waiting for instruction.
We ended up having to leave on foot over the old KVR rail bridge and got picked up in trucks about 15 min later a little further down the old rail bed on the back roads.
