Khai Nok Island Phang Nga Thailand 2
Part two of my Khai island Videos.
The Khai Island group of 3 islands (Khai Nok, Khai Nui and Khai Nai island) is a popular snorkelling and swimming destination in itself and there are half day and full day tours to the Khai islands from Chalong Pier Everyday but Khai Nok Island receives the lion's share of the tourists as it is the largest of the three Islands and it has the largest white sand bar that connects this dumb bell shaped island that has rows and rows of beach bunk beds and unbrellas for the thousands of day tourists coming to this island. Khai Nok Island gets the lions share because almost all of the Phi Phi Island and Krabi Islands Speed Boat Tours have a pit stop here for 1 to 2 hours where the guests can relax at the beach bunk beds (you have to pay 100 baht extra for a pair of bunk beds) and have free fresh fruits like watermelons, dragon fruits, papaya, pineapple. there is also some beach bars along the sand bar that you can have assorted brewskies and soft drinks and alco pops like vodka cruiser and bacardi breezer for 120 baht a pop.
Khai nok island also has clear green waters where you can swim and snorkel and be with the fishes as the fishes here are friendly and you can feed them bread too. just be careful of the strong undercurrents at the shoreline. the sands is is powdery white.
Khai Nok island is 20 minutes by speed boat from chalong pier and is part of Pha Nga Province.

The top 5 amazing place in Thailand - Phuket, Ko Phi Phi, James Bond Island, Khai Nok, Kata
Our holiday in Thailand - Phuket (Patong & Kata), Ko Phi Phi, James Bond Island, Khai Nok, Khai Nai, Khai Nuk etc.
We traveled by taxi, tuk tuk, motorbike, aeroplane & boat.
James Bond Island is a famous landmark in Phang Nga Bay. It first found its way onto the international tourist map through its starring role in the James Bond movie 'The Man with the Golden Gun'. A distinctive feature of this famous bay is the number of sheer limestone cliffs that vertically jut out of the emerald-green water.
Ko Phi Phi (หมู่เกาะพีพี) is a small archipelago of six islands in Krabi Province, Southern Thailand. It is touted to be one of the most beautiful yet easily accessible island groups in the world. While the latter is certainly true, the former is quickly becoming less so. The entire region is technically part of a marine National Park, but the hordes of visitors have taken a toll on the beaches and reefs over the years.

One Of The Most Beautiful Places On Earth!-Snorkeling Trip To Koh Hong and Neighbor Islands-Thailand
When the boat went inside the mesmerizing laguna I was breathless, what a unique and unspoiled place!
Soon, the other boats were off and we were there at that paradise all alone, being overtaken by its beauty.
The new drone laws in Thailand didn’t allow us to give you a wider perspective of the place, yet maybe that’s not by chance. Perhaps, a little mystery will make it even better when your eyes seat on it for the first time.

Thailand Koh Khai Nok island
Koh Khai Nok island in Thailand is about 20 to 30 minutes by boat from Phuket.
It is a small island, but the beauty you get here is at least twice as big as the island.

As we seem to be coming towards the end of the dry calm season on the west coast of Phuket, let's not forget there are plenty of beautiful beaches on islands off the east coast of Phuket, which are generally calm and great for swimming, snorkeling, and exploring even in the rainy windy season, as they are situated in the naturally protected Phang Nga Bay between Phuket Phang Nga and Krabi.
An example is Ko Kai or Egg Islands -- two islands Yai and Noi, big and small, near each other, in the southern west part of Phang Nga Bay just 15 minutes by speedboat from a marina or port near Phuket city.
There are some pleasant small beaches facing different directions with fantastic views, and if you just want to relax and soak up some rays of sunshine, there are also small huts serving food and drinks most of the day. Near the beaches the fish are abundant and lively here, probably because they are overfed by visitors, but it is best to just look not feed them so they return to their natural habitats.
There are several great coral reefs further off the beaches in deeper waters near the islands and you should be able to find a sheltered side whichever way the wind is blowing. However because these islands are so popular for day trippers & snorkellors, it is best to try to get there early or late to avoid the crowds.
Another alternative even if it starts to rain, is to head to the Pearl & oyster farms and restaurants on bigger islands like Ko Rang Yai or Ko Naka Yai, further north in Phang Nga Bay but sill only 15 minutes from a marina on Phuket.
These Indian newspaper journalists who recently visited the northern part of the Bay on board a luxury yacht trip were very impressed by the islands and stunning landscapes of the limestone cliffs which soar up out of the flat calm emerald green sea. Even though they didn't have time to go swimming, they would still recommend their millions of readers to come explore the wonders of Phang Nga Bay:
The further north and east you go into Phang-Nga Bay the calmer and more relaxing it becomes, giving you a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of busy Phuket, and escape the winds of change on its west coast.
