Khanderao Market is a palatial building in Vadodara. It was erected by Maharaja Sayajirao Gaekwad III in the year 1906, and named after Maharaja Khanderao Gaekwad.
This is the busiest and oldest market of the city. To add to the majesty of the place, a tall statue of Maharaja Khanderao Gaekwad stands in front of the market gate.

4. Private telephone exchange of 1000 lines facilitate free communication with APMC, canteen, security, banks as well as among traders.
5. Cold storage of 3,750 ton capacity to store agricultural produce.
6. Ripening chambers of (20 x 5) = 100 ton capacity to ripen banana, mango, papaya etc.
7. OWC (Organic Waste Converter) unit to convert organic waste of yard into valuable organic manure without fowl smell.
8. Biogas plant of 85 cubic meter capacity to treat organic waste of yard and convert the gas into electricity and organic manure rendering yard waste free with BEST from the WASTE concept.
9. Farmer Information Centre to address different questions pertaining to farming, marketing, training, government scheme, subsidies, soil health card, water quality etc.
10. Rainwater harvesting systems installed in yard to harvest rain water to increase underground water table and improve quality of ground water.
11. Sewage water recycled with recycle system (electrolysis method) and reused in yard.
12. Soil testing laboratory to test the soil samples of farmers for ‘N’, ‘P’, ‘K’, PH, EC and micronutrient too and help in preparing soil health card.
13. Drip irrigation system for garden and plantation.
14. Farmer rest room, training cum exhibition hall, RO drinking water plant with auto dispenser.
15. Free coupon for food to the farmer bringing agricultural produce in the market yard.
