Khor Al Najd Musandam Oman Must visit place

Khawr Najd is a natural creek close to Khasab City in Musandam Oman. You need a 4WD to visit this place by road. It takes around 10 minutes on road drive to reach the base of mountain behind which this Khawr is situated. 5-7 minutes steep uphill drive on an unpaved road takes you on the top spot (420 meters high) from where a 10-15 minutes down hill drive (again unpaved road) takes you to the Khawr.The scenery from top of mountain is breath-taking beautiful.

Now a days you may get online visa which helps you to save time in the border/immigration.This is the beautiful place to visit and if you drive in car ???? you will enjoy the long drive from uae.on the way there are hills such wonderful to take photographs.When you reach khasab try to get a boat to go around the khasab in the sea.
I suggest try to go early in the morning such that you can spend much more time & enjoy a lot.

Khor najd in Oman

Khor al Najd,Musandam,Oman

At 24.5km southeast of Khasab, this is the only khor accessible by vehicle (preferably 4WD). You can camp on the rim of this wild bay although it’s often too shallow and muddy for a good swim. The viewpoint at the top of the graded road, however, is stunning and worth the visit for its own sake. This is the view that is most often chosen in tourist literature to promote Musandam.
To reach the khor from Khasab, head inland past the airport for 15km and follow the sign for ‘Khor an Najd 6km’. Turn left and head for the obvious graded road that winds up the mountain. After a couple of kilometers you come to the pass, from where a steep 3km descent brings you to the water’s edge.

Directions to Khor Najd: Head south through Khasab until you come to Wadi Khasab. Turn left here onto the track and follow the signs to Dabba (Dibba). After around 8km, take a left up Wadi Sal Al A'la. Take another left after 5km, past a military firing range. The beach is another 5km up and over a dramatic winding pass. To reach the acacia forest, head back to Wadi Sal Al A'la but turn left at the firing range to Sal Al A'la instead of right; the forest is on the right 5km or so up the wadi.

TRIP TO KHASAB, MUSANDAM, OMAN | CROSSING UAE AND OMAN BORDER | VISA PROCESS | ABU DHABI TO KHASAB

Hi Guys,

This video is about SPECTACULARLY BEAUTIFUL AL KHASAB, MUSANDAM, OMAN : ROADTRIP FROM ABU DHABI TO KHASAB.



We were on a short 2 days weekend trip to Al khasab, Musandam, Oman.

Khasab is a very interesting place, it’s part of Musandam, Oman.Musandam is not actually attached to the main body of the country and hence is known as the Musandam peninsula.

Musandam is around four hour drive from Abu Dhabi and about an hour less than that from Dubai.

UAE AND OMAN BORDER CROSSING :

It’s not a difficult border crossing.UAE residents will have to present car insurance and registration as well as passports to get your exit stamp.It cost us Dhs33 per person to leave UAE.
In Oman side, you will have to fill out a customs entry card for each person, show all the documentation again and pay 5 Omani Rials/Dhs 50 per person for your entry visas. Now you are done with Visa stamping and you can go!

The scenic coastal road we drove is amazing and stunning.
The beautiful landscape to pass through with the beach, blue waters on one side and the incredible mountains on the other.
It is one of the most beautiful road we traveled in the world so far.

We reached hotel, after checking- in, we had our lunch in one Restaurant. The food was delicious.
