Khndzoresk (Armenian: Խնձորեսկ, pronounced [χəndzɔˈɾɛsk]) is a village and rural community (municipality) in the South-East of Armenia, in the province (marz) of Syunik. The village is located to the right of Goris - Stepanakert highway, on the steep slopes of Khor Dzor (Deep Gorge), from which, according to tradition, it got its name. Crossing the bridge at the entrance of the village, the road continues towards the towns of Lachin and Stepanakert. New Khndzoresk (the current inhabited area) was built in the 1950s. The village is located at 1580m above sea level and occupies 6772,8ha. The National Statistical Service of the Republic of Armenia (ARMSTAT) reported its population as 2,260 in 2010, up from 1,992 at the 2001 census.
Хндзоре́ск (арм. Խնձորեսկ) — село в восточной части Сюникской области в Армении.
Название «Хндзореск» дословно переводится с армянского языка как «Яблочный». Согласно одной из версий, поселение было названо так, потому что в этой местности произрастало большое количество яблонь. По другой версии, в старину село называлось Хор Дзор (арм. Խոր Ձոր, Глубокая Пропасть), или Хордзореск, потому как оно находилось в глубоком ущелье. Видоизменившись со временем, это название превратилось в Хндзореск.
Село расположено в 8 км к востоку от города Горис, недалеко от шоссе Горис — Степанакерт. Главная достопримечательность — «пещерный город», Старый Хндзореск — село, раскинувшееся на протяжении около 3 км на склонах глубокого ущелья, долгое время бывшее одним из самых многолюдных сёл Сюника. В XX веке поселение было перенесено на вершину каньона.

Shikahogh reserve, Armenia, English (Part 2)
Shikahogh reserve, Armenia. Established in 1958. Area: 12,137 ha. Location: Southern Armenia, Syunik Marz. The Tsav and Shikahogh river basins. Northern slopes of the Meghri Ridge. Elevations 700-2400m above sea level.
Purpose: protection of oak-hornbeam forests and typical plant and animal associations, 1074 species of vascular plants, plane, Oriental beech and yew groves. Conservation of the leopard, bezoar goat, brown bear, Caucasian black grouse, Caspian snowcock and other species. Natural and historical monuments: Forests of Mtnadzor, scenic rocks, caves, several chruches, ruins of settlements and the Ksajur (water that heals scabies) shrine.

After some search, we found the warm spring in Vorotan village, Armenia. The village and warm spring are surrounded by beautiful rock formation. Water is nice warm, Possible spot for camping (do not pay attention to the trash around). Filmed on 15 April 2014.

Goris (Armenian: Գորիս), is a town in the southern Syunik Province of Armenia. Located in the valley of river Goris (or Vararak), it is 254 km away from the Armenian capital Yerevan and 67 km from the provincial center Kapan. Goris is an urban community and the second largest city in Syunik. In the 2011 census its population was 20,591, down from 23,261 reported at the 2001 census. However, as per the 2016 official estimate, the population of Goris is 20,300.
