THE BIGGEST SLUM OF AFRICA - Visiting Kibera Slum in Nairobi [Kenya Vlog #1]
Hey guys and welcome to a new video! Today, with my first Kenya Vlog! On one of my first days in Nairobi, Kenya I actually went on a tour through the Kibera Slum, which is Africa's biggest urban slum with an estimated population of up to 1 million.
Together with my local guide Moses (Instagram: @moseskiberatour), we visited his neighborhood, the shopping street of Kibera, a local school and bakery and the Power Women Organization. The visit in the Kibera Slum was touching and really interesting. It is a world, that is only hard to imagine as someone from a Western country. And yet, people there were super friendly and welcoming to me. If you happen to be in Nairobi, I highly recommend connecting with Moses to have this experience. #Nairobi #Kenya #Kibera

Let's go to Kenya | Nairobi downtown | Mombasa hostel | Go to Zanzibar | Kibera slum documentary
Let's go to Kenya - this is what I had on my mind right before I had decided to go on another volunteer mission. This time, I was going to Africa. It took a lot of time to plan the route, contact schools and get vaccinations. Sex slaves - it is just a catchy title, there will be nothing about sex in the video. You need to understand that. Nairobi downtown is a dirty place full of people, but there are also civilized areas that have things like pizza places, government buildings and some universities. Then, I went to Mombasa City, which is located on the ocean, and stayed there for a while. After that, I started heading to Zanzibar through Tanzania, visiting a city called Tanga. I took a small plane from Tanga to Pemba Island, which is next to Zanzibar. Going to Zanzibar - this what I had in my mind, at that time! After that, I returned to the mainland of Tanzania and took a train to Victoria Lake and returned to Nairobi. In the video, you will see a lot of footage from one of the biggest slums of Africa - Kibera. Kibera Slum Documentary - this might be a better title for this video.

Kibera Slum - Nairobi, Kenya
Kibera slum is located in Nairobi, Kenya. It one of the biggest and the poorest African slums with a population of around one million.
Inside Africa's Biggest Slum (Kibera) - Nairobi, Kenya
Nairobi (Kenya) is a very complex, diverse city. The rich are REALLY rich, and the poor are REALLY poor.
Today I took a trip to a district in Nairobi called Kibera, which is considered to be the biggest urban slum in Africa. More than 1 million people live within 2 square kilometers.
I don't know how many videos it will take me to spread this message, but I can tell you with absolute certainty that people in impoverished areas are significantly happier than the wealthy.
And overall, I've found Kenyan people to be the most heart warming, welcoming and friendly people in Africa (along with Malawians!) Have I mentioned that I love Nairobi?!
