Dark Side of the Okanagan - Northern Lights & Stars
Most travel to the Okanagan Valley for the hot summer days, secluded but accessible beaches, quality wine, bike trails and breathtaking sunsets that seemingly provide the perfect end to a perfect day...
But most remain unaware that our remote, desert climate has some of the darkest skies in the area, providing spectacular views of the Northern Lights (Aurora Borealis), Milky Way Galaxy, Shooting Stars and other cosmic events, only seen by the patient, persistent and lucky few who are willing to venture out into the night.
