Falklands Luncheon Group Chat n Chew Take to the High Seas
Last October saw the Chat n Chew crew going out on a boat trip as they took part in the first of many lunchtime excursions. Chat n Chew is a midday social group that provides cakes, sandwiches and good conversation every lunchtime in the parish hall.
This trip took the lunchtime sailors out to kidney island and then back around Stanley harbour. Luckily the weather was in their favour as the glorious sunshine and calm wind made it even easier to spot some seals, penguins and dolphins

Falkland Islands & Ascension - a visual diary
This is a compilation of film footage and photography that I collected during the 2 months that I spent in the Falkland Islands on my medical elective, and the 3 days I spent on Ascension on the return journey. Film includes footage of Stanley and surrounding areas, camp, FIGAS flights, lamb marking and sheep sheering, and of course the stunning wildlife from Volunteer Point and Kidney, Carcass and Saunders Islands. The film also includes some of sites and views from Ascension Island.
