Memorial Kilcornan

The memorial scholarship will be awarded each year to a student enrolled at DCU through the DCU Access Scholarship Programme. This programme was introduced in 1980 to provide talented students who would not otherwise have the chance to attend college with the opportunity of a third level education.
The objective is to raise €50,000, Claire Whelehan, of the DCU Educational Trust said. Its hard to know exactly how much has been raised because not all the money has come in yet but were well past the half-way point.
Those wishing to contribute to the Gerard McDonnell Memorial Access Scholarship Fund are invited to contact the DCU Educational Trust on ph: 01 700-5467, or contact: Claire Whelehan, DCU Educational Trust. Ph: 01 700-8639. Donations may also be made on-line by following the web link and requesting that your gift go towards the Ger McDonnell Memorial Access Scholarship Fund.
