We spent a good part of Sunday at the Beaches of Enniscrone which is just inside County Sligo. The beaches are pristine and beyond is the Atlantic Ocean. Terry told me that our ancestors would come to work out the aches and pains of the weather and the work by relaxing in the Seaweed baths. Terry took me on a little tour of the Baths. I found this
fascinating. I could listen to Terry all day. A natural born story teller.

A trip to Western Ireland
After landing at Knock airport we spent a few days in Westport before moving on to Achill Island. We finally stopped in Enniscrone where the highlight of the trip was a seaweed bath.

早晨！今日係旅行嘅第九日，亦都係喺愛爾蘭嘅第五日同埋係第二日成日留喺戈爾韋/高威。 我哋又八點幾起身到附近Cafe食早餐。今日都要好準時，因為我哋約咗獨木舟教練Duncan要十點正到墳場會合。因為出發點係墳場口對出既河。
去到我哋要換上防水衣。皆因我驚跌個電話落水嘅關係，我冇攞到我電話去拍片同影相。要靠Christine 部浮得起既假GoPro影。Kayak, 獨木舟我哋之前玩過，但係都好攰。有Duncan 帶隊，3個鍾時間過得好快！
玩完返AIRBNB休息陣，出去食啲嘢，跟住揸個半鐘頭車去浸海藻！原途見到好多白羊通山通街走。到咗發現成湖都係啲海藻。浸之前要焗蒸爐十分鐘，等啲皮膚毛孔開通，先再浸。海藻浴好膠，好滑！浸完都唔捨得走。
最後返Galway 食嘢，飲酒。緊係要去好有愛爾蘭特色，Ed Sheeran Music Video - Galway Girl 去過既第二間酒吧啦！O'Connor's Famous Pub. 好古色，氣氛好正！
聽日行程冇咁趕，返Dublin自由行。最後一日半點玩法？密切留意下個禮拜嘅片！

GOOD MORNING! Today is our 9th day in vacation mode, 5th day in Ireland, and also our 2nd Full day staying in Galway. We woke up around 8am again and had breakfast at nearby Cafe. We also need to be on time today because we have to meet up with Duncan, our Kayak guide, at the cemetery by 10 am. Right, because the starting point for our kayaking today is the river just outside the entry of the cemetery...
We put on the wet suits upon arrival. Since I was afraid I would drop my phone into the water, I didn't bring it for pictures or videotaping. We relied on Christine's knock-off Floatable GoPro to get some footages. We all kayaked before, but it was still tiresome! With the lead by Duncan, the 3 hours passed unimaginably fast!
We went back to AirBnb for some rest afterward. Then headed out for lunch and drove an hour and half to our first Seaweed Baths! We saw a lot of sheep roaming around the mountain and the roads on our way there. Upon arrival, we noticed there are a lot of seaweeds by the river. So, for the experience, first, we needed to stay in the Steam room for 10 mins to open our skin pores. Then we could bath the seaweeds. The water was slimy and silky smooth! That 1 hour experience was not enough!
Lastly, we headed back to Galway for dinner and headed to a pub for drink. Of course we needed to head to a more traditional Irish feeling pub. We went to the one that filmed Ed Sheeran's MV -
Galway Girl - O'Connor's Famous Pub. The atmosphere was amazing!
Tomorrow will be less tensed. We'll be heading back to Dublin to walk around. How will we enjoy our last day and a half? Stay Tuned my next week vlog!!
