Kilden Theater and Concert Hall construction project (Kristiansand, Norway)
- What sets Kilden apart from other venues is its wavy facade. The facade structure continues indoors as the ceiling of the building. The top part of the facade is supported by bent steel columns every 25 metres.

KILDEN I KRISTIANSAND

On the banks of Otra in Kristiansand, Norway
This was our first day in Norway and we stopped in Kristiansand. It was a beautiful small town that was easily traveled by foot. When we exited the ship, there was a nice little map that had points of interest and an excellent suggested walking tour of the city.
We first walked by the Kilden Performing Arts Centre and they even had a free show going on later that day. Then you can walk by the Fish Market (Fischkai). We then walked down the main shopping street called Markens and found some neat souvenirs. We stopped in the Kristiansand Cathedral which was lovely. Next we headed toward the river Otra on Skippergata street which is part of the old town (Posebyen). I loved all the colorful houses.
This video looks around the banks of the Otra.
Filmed on my Samsung Galaxy 7 in August 2017.
