Killarney, Ireland - Our bike adventure in Killarney National Park
A quick overview of one of our favorite stops on our road trip through Ireland in the town of Killarney. There is so much to do that it is a definite must visit if you're going to Ireland.
More to do in Killarney:

Rugged, mountainous sanctuary encompassing lakes, rivers, forests and lots of waterfalls.
Killarney National Park In Killarney Ireland
Goliath Mann from YT took me to Killarney Ireland. We also visited the Killarney National Park and took a horse drawn carriage tour. Killarney is famous for its lakes, waterfall and mountain views.
We saw the Torc Waterfall while passing through on the way out of Killarney.
In the park we saw some wild deer, which feel quite safe because I was told the Irish do not eat venison much at all.
There was a beautiful old run of a church which is said to be haunted.
The Killarney lakes are a series of interconnected inland fresh water lakes. They are quite a scene from the mountain tops.
We also saw Ross castle which I later got to tour. Sadly they did not allow cameras inside so this is about all you will see of it.
Inside the castle you can see the four level dwellings of the people who lived inside. From the bottom, moving up to the top you have the poor up to the richest of the people.
Thank you again Goliath Mann for another awesome day in Ireland.

You NEED to Do This in Killarney - Ireland
Boating through Killarney National Park and Biking through the Gap of Dunloe. I didn't know Ireland was such an adventurous destination.
I was in Killarney to attend TBEX (Travel Blog Exchange) and one of the tours they put together, through Failte Ireland, was to boat across Lough Leane and cycle through the Gap of Dunloe, both close to Killarney.
We were pick up at the INEC (Ireland's National Event Center) and transported to Ross Castle on Lough Leane. We took boats, provided by Gap of Dunloe Traditional Boat Tours, across the lake to an island with ancient monastery ruins and then navigating through Muckross Lake and Upper Lake before being dropped off at Lord Brandon's Cottage.
From there we mounted our bikes, provided by Ireland Walk Hike Bike, to cycle up the Mountains of East Kerry for the 11 kilometer road through the Gap of Dunloe. The sights were incredible. It did rain on and off the whole day but it just added to the experience and made it more memorable.
We stopped at Heather Restaurant for a delicious meal and the best Irish Coffee I have ever had. Our last stop of the tour was Beaufort Bar, a pub that is as traditional as you can find with live music and dance performers to welcome all us bloggers to Ireland.
It was an amazing first day in Ireland for me and I highly suggest Killarney as a stop on your Ireland trip.

How To Spend A Day In Killarney National Park, Killarney, Ireland 4K

In this vlog, I will show you how to spend a day in Killarney National Park.
Killarney National Park is a must if you come to Ireland. The town of Killarney is a great place to visit, especially being that it has a fantastic national park only a short bike ride away.
If you only have a day in Killarney National Park, you can only do so much. If you really want to experience something a lot of tourist most likely do not experience, I would hike Mangerton Mountain.
Mangerton Mountain is a great hike and you are rewarded with unreal views not only at the top but along the hike.
Yes, there are other attractions of the park I recommend on my blog, but if you want a unique and unreal experience of breathtaking views, hike Mangerton Mountain.
Be sure to go with a group or a friend at the very least to be safe! I would advise you to get up early and hike as you never know what the weather might be later in the day.
I will have a full break down on my blog of how to get there and some of my other favorite destinations in the park and town.

Killarney ,Ireland - Aerial
Killarney is a town on the shores of Lough Leane in southwest Ireland’s County Kerry. It’s a stop on the Ring of Kerry scenic drive, and the start and finishing point of the 200-km Kerry Way walking trail. The town's 19th-century buildings include St. Mary’s Cathedral. Across the bridge from the cathedral is Killarney National Park. Victorian mansion Muckross House, Gardens & Traditional Farms sits in the park.

Killarney, Ireland
Driving from Dingle down to Killarney, where we walk the main streets and take a horse carriage ride passing one of the lakes of Killarney. Then on driving towards Kinsale in the south of Ireland. It's one of the prettiest parts of the country.

Killarney is most famous for its three lakes, and the town itself is quite attractive. Killarney is the nation's most popular destination after Dublin. People are drawn here primarily for the natural beauties around in the National Park, but the town itself has developed into a major tourist magnet.
There are quite a few shops packed into a small area. Those main streets outlined in blue add up to only about 1/2 a mile so it's quite easy to walk through the center up and down both sides of the street.
One of the most popular activities here is riding in the horse carriage with some commentary by your local driver.
Killarney does have nice wide sidewalks in the downtown area with trees and some benches, and the shops each seem to be unique. It's not like going to a big shopping mall. This place has a lot of character. The center of town, marked in the red circle is the crossroads of busy streets: High Street Main and New. Cars drive down the streets, so there's no pedestrian zone as such, but the sidewalks are nice and wide, it's easy to take a comfortable stroll.
