Kilohana Plantation Railway: 1939 Whitcomb Diesel Engine Train Ike (Kauai)—Lihue, Hawaii
Here comes Ike, slowly, but surely. The clip was taken from the starting point of the hike which is through a lush, exotic plantation. It's better than most botanical gardens, anywhere, in the world.

Kauai Vaction 2018 Days 1 and 2 - Princeviille to Lihue
Wow, my wife and I have been traveling a lot since December 2017. Kauai, Maui, Texas, San Diego, Palm Springs, Washington State, Arizona, South Carolina, Kauia again. Here are some picture I took on the east side of Kauai, our favorite Hawaiin island. If you're wondering about that beach that used to be lovely, that's Lydgate Park, and the beach is normally lovely, but this is what it looked like after Hurricane Lane hit a few weeks ago.

A Night at Kilohana plantation.

We saved and paid for our vacation before it began. The plan was to fly straight from Atlanta to Hawaii, spend the night, then get on a cruise ship for 7 days to see 4 of the islands. Deloris planned excursions at every stop including rainforest hikes with waterfall swimming, zip lining, watching a sunrise from atop a 10,000 foot crater and biking down it, a luau, surfing lessons, and a helicopter tour of one of the islands. Epic doesn't describe it all. What a great way for us to celebrate 10 years of marriage. Awesome!
