Join us as we find interesting things to do, see and eat! We have another channel, based on our EBay reselling business. Even so, there is more to life. All work and no play...well, you know the rest.
We love travel, adventure and interesting things to do. We are starting our channel now, with the intention of it becoming full time when we go on the road throughout Europe in our motorhome/RV when we retire in 2 years time. Till then, we are going to find loads of interesting things to do here in the UK.
If you have any suggestions of ideas for us to try out or places to visit, let us know in the comments. We love to hear from our viewers!
We love to metal detect! Do you have some land you would be willing to let us detect on? If so, please let us know :)

We park at Kilve beach (£2.50 all day ) and follow the coastal path to St Audries bay. The cliffs here are rich with Geology , a great place to explore rock pools and fossils.

With this video I wanted to mix footage from last year and this years location filming at a wonderful location in England ,Kilve beach England. The location has amazing rock formations and I captured them in 2015 and 2016. My hope was to mix them to make a full video.
The difficulty was the quality of camera and frame rates. They work very different. So the end result is a low resolution video. Very sad that I could not match the quality but both were filmed at 1080p 60fps. I had to reduce the files and hammer the original raw footage. I am uploading this as experimental as the only thing this video conveys is my progression with filming. I think the later of the video shows this. Experimentation and learning of this subject amazes me every day on my drone journey. Daylight footage was the Yuneec Q500 plus and the sunset footage
Was the DJI phantom 3 advanced. You can see which is most impressive.

WALKING THE WEST SOMERSET COAST FROM DONIFORD TOWARDS KILVE
investigating where we can walk from the new bridge, following the sign post's directions. The tv news reports and those in the local newspaper gave the impression that the new bridge was the last link in the West Somerset Coastal Path..

St Audries bay 0, Kilve beach 6! Sunset Photography on the coast of Somerset.
So we decided to visit St Audries bay, sadly at high tide there is absolutely nothing to photograph here, so we moved on to Kilve beach, and that was a different story! Wow! The light, the rocks, the sea..... Superb! Check it out!

KILVE BEACH: A Film by Jack Negus
Recently, I bought a DJI Phantom, which is epic. On Saturday I headed to Kilve Beach in Somerset to practice, as they're quite technical things to fly.

This small village seems caught in a time capsule, it lies just off the Main A39 and on the edge of the Bristol channel. The village centre has a feeling of great tranquility with it's exquisite manor house, thatched cottages, medieval barns, it's own duck pond and old mill building, with a wonderful walk to kilve beach.

Kilve Beach & Coastal Walk, PARTS XIX& XX'Back On Kilve Beach' by Sheila, July 9th 2018
A beach of jewels--fossils--yes an abundance of fossils and beautiful geological formations, shale and blue lias layering, limestone structures, and architectural structures formed over time like natural amphitheaters with seating looking out to sea--the sea the actor performing every day all year round and in all weathers accompanied by wind and rain and the tides--reshaping the landscape--erosion the outcome revealing hidden gems, exposing wondrous time formations. Yes this experience was over whelming meeting the fossil ancestors from 200 million years ago when all this was land and sometimes covered with ice at other periods in time--plants and animal life trapped in time , stored for us but now fragile and although captured in time could be lost in time as the planet changes its meteorological course, when us humans attack and destroy sometimes unintentionally as we collect and gather ----hunters and gatherers of fossils compared with berries and herbs---thank goodness for museums and protected coastlines and education---to help save and preserve our inheritance......
