Kimberley is a small and a very beautiful city in southeast part of British Columbia, Canada along a Highway i.e 95A between the Rocky and Purcell Mountains. Kimberley was named after the Kimberley mine in 1896 in South Africa. Top Tourist Places in Kimberley, British Columbia make best tourist destination in British Columbia, Canada.
From period of 1917-2001, Kimberlye was home to the one of the world’s largest lead zinc mine, i.e the Sullivan Mine.

1. Kimberley Heritage Museum: History dates of Kimberley back to discovery of the galena at North Star mine, now it is the location of Kimberley Alpine Resort.
With discovery of high grade material/mineral, Sullivan Mine was started. The Sullivan Mine was a huge deposit of ore and very quickly it became one of the largest zinc mine in the whole world.
The Sullivine Mine was the largest employer in Kimberley for around 100 years.
2. Kimberley Riverside Campground: Kimberley Riverside Campground offers clean modern facilities, quiet & relaxing surroundings and incredible scenery to have comfort.
Sites are private and very spacious with full or partial services of sewer, water and power and tenting service is also being provided here.
You can enjoy a 18 hole putting course, playground, laundry, hotspot internet access, free showers, outdoor pool and too friendly staff to ensure that your vacation may go fully enjoyable.
3. Kimberley Aquatic Centre: Kimberley Aquatic Centre is located at 520 Archibald Street, which boasts great water facilities that includes a 25 mt 5-lane lap pool, competition diving boards and a leisure pool.
Water features include vortex, T-cup spray and a lazy river. There is also a steam room, hot tub, and a pool side viewing terrace. It is one of the Top Tourist Places in Kimberley, British Columbia.

4. Downtown & the Cuckoo Clock: Wander that the pedestrian only brick the streets which are lined up with restaurants, a climbing wall, giant chess pieces, water fountains, boutiques and shops. It is a great place to have lounge with pick up and take in fine food for someone back at home.
5. Cominco Gardens: Cominco Gardens is a a stunning view of valley and is surrounded by the natural trees.
Cominco Gardens is a 5 hectare place which boasts more than 45,000 flowers in a year and is free to visit and enjoy.
This garden is located few minutes from the downtown. This garden is a very popular place for a casual stroll or a picnic.

The Kimberley is one of Australia's last frontiers.
Stunning landscapes featuring gorges, waterfalls, waterholes and mountain ranges, the Kimberley is known for its unique landscapes. We'll be flying into Kununurra and photographing sunset at the stunning Mirima National Park. A great way introduction to the Kimberley. The following day we'll head straight out to Emma Gorge where we'll spend the next two days exploring El Questro Wilderness Park and the nearby Cockburn Ranges.
Then we'll head down the road to one of The Kimberley's most iconic landscapes, the Bungle Bungles. Home to the bee-hive rock domes that dominate the eastern Bungle Bungles. We'll spend another two days with helicopter flights and walks through this fantastic region.
As with all our photography workshops, we'll be maximising our time in the Kimberley by photographing as much as possible, exploring the gorges, and capturing stunning landscape images to take home and cherish forever. Our invaluable critique sessions will allow you to learn from Tom on how to improve your images as well as view the other participants images. This is regarded as one of the best aspects of our workshops.
The feedback we've had over the years is that this is one of our BEST photo workshops.
