Now here is some information about J.R. Bjornson
I make videos that are called daily vlogs. The only one real catch about me, is that I am legally blind. I was born with an eye condition called Peter’s Anomaly. I can see about a foot in front of me or 12 inches. I have enough vision to edit my videos, ride a longboard, and a bike as well. I always tell people “I have enough vision to save my life.” I have 2 great boys and my amazing high school sweetheart now my wife.

Due to my lack of vision finding employment AKA work is hard. I have been jobless for almost over 2 years. This is how I can make new videos every day. You can find a new video every day here on

Currently I make seven videos per week and host a cooking show called Cooking With a Blind Guy. A fun show that shows everyone that you can still cook food without vision. You can watch season 1 so far at

A Day in the Life of 3 Mile Bend Red Deer

Photos were taken at Red Deer's Three/3 Mile Bend on a very cold April 26 2014. This is an off-leash dog park in Red Deer and is a beautiful location and green space located beside Red Deer river and close to downtown Red Deer. Red Deer is known for its recreational green spaces.

This is a very beautiful creek that is close to Hope BC.Crystal clear water and cold .As a teenager we used to sun ourselves on the big rocks in the river.This video was taken along the old highway .

Maggie Lakes, Ca 2017

2 day backpacking trip to Maggie Lakes with Tomas C. and Jason M. and some of Jason's kin from So.Cal. Summit Trailhead route. 18+ miles. 6 hours in. 4.5 hours out. Weather was warm in the am and dropped to low 50's at night. Jason caught a 12-15 inch Golden Trout. The trail was pretty rough close the destination. Hard to follow at times and rocky. I got lost for a bit and arrived around 45 minutes later. Beautiful views. Used my GoPro Hero 5 Black and a 3rd person rig I made from PVC pipe.
